PS2 was a juggernaut! I remember hating it because it crushed my beloved Dreamcast! It was a great system though. It was amazing to see how much performance they squeezed out of that machine. God of War 2 and Shadow of the Colossus blew me away back in the day. PS4 has a long way to go before they start singing those praises. It's like calling a undefeated fighter, whos been fighting for only a year or two, the next Mike Tyson.
Remake this, definitive that, sheesh. When the xbox 2 and PS5 come out, theyre gonna make a Definitive, definitive version. I know a lot of people wanna see that game reproduced in HD, and overhauled , but when are they gonna stop with the remakes, and enhanced versions? I still play RE2 on my Dreamcast, and while its not a visual treat, it is still fun. I don't think all these remakes and definitive editions are necessary.Anyway, done with my rant.

Even though that is a big gap, Microsoft is still sitting healthy in this gen. 10 million is still a lot of systems, and is on pace to be very productive . Yeah Sony is killing it right now, but Microsoft can still get a big piece of the market, and make lots of money doing so. Nintendo is really the only one that needs to worry, although I'm rooting for them to sustain.
It will probably take them another 2 years to get the pc version patched up.

Well, I don't play benchmarks, I play games. I'm fine with the xbox1. The Dreamcast and Saturn have significantly slower cpus, but I still enjoy them. I know people eat these numbers up, but to me, neither one has games on them that look marginally better than the other, so I say they look even from a technical stand point. Gonna come down to which games people prefer.
I think it deserves all the accolades. Great game and one of the best, if not the best looking game last gen.
Well, I know the beta looked outstanding! I'm more interested in the new Gears release , and not a remake, but it still will be a day one purchase for me.

I guess we shall see. It'd be nice to see that this DX12 thing actually help the Xbox1, and not just minimally. If so, maybe it will stop getting attacked for having the lower resolution. That Fox engine looks incredible btw.
I have a gaming PC, yet I prefer the controller option over the keyboard, and mouse. I guess I've just got used to controllers. Been gaming since the Sega Master System and it's really hard for me to get the controls right on the keyboard mouse setup. I usually just plug my wired 360 controller into my PC. This is good news though, as I could see how a lot of folks, who are the opposite, and prefer keyboard. That being said, did I just go on a rant, and is this topic even about that? ...

Can't wait! I loved the last Tomb Raider, which I have for my PS3, and it was a blast from start to finish.I thought the visuals were very impressive on the 360, and PS3, and this was is looking amazing. I even still play the original on my Saturn. Great to see this franchise getting back on track. I didn't care for Tomb Raider legend that much, but I could see they were moving in the right direction, and I did like Underworld, then they hit a home run with the last one. The Dreamcast...
Always been a fan of AMD, so I hope they can get their act together. I'm not to fond of using apus in my builds though. I prefer cpu and a separate gpu .
Forza is the best racing series out, hands down. I did like PGR when it came out, and Gran Turismo was solid back in the PSX, and PS2 era, but Forza is the best racing series out now imo. Great graphics, excellent gameplay, and tons of content. NOt sure it needs DX12.

I'm looking forward to both of them, so I don't really care to see them compete, rather both succeed with tremendous sales. I remember playing the first Tomb Raider on my SAturn. Loved it! There were some bad ones along the way, especially the Dreamcast ones. Ever since Underworld, they've been heading in the right direction. Loved the last one also.
