too early to say. until smartphones are able to make calls, text, game, internet, music and video all day with no risk of battery dying, i believe there will still be room to own more specific devices.
people with no knowledge won't look at either, or look at the one that their kid asked for. most people understand the difference between a home console and a portable device. the Gameboy has been around for over 20 years, i think people get by now. if someone walks in to a store and doesn't own the ps3 or vita, i don't think Sony gives a shit which one they buy. either way it's money in the bank.
Alan Wake and Lost Odyssey are the only two i would really like to play. i also enjoy Forza, but i tend to become bored with racing. there are also a bunch of different racing games already available for the PS3 that i enjoy.

100% agree. i like them because i missed out on a lot of great games from last gen because i wasn't gaming all that much, but this allows me to play some great series that i missed. it is almost like going and buying a trade paperback instead of going back and trying to find each copy of a comic series.

seems like a fair review. i agree with most of what they have said(especially the lobby system), but i would score the mp higher then them. i agree it doesn't do enough to separate itself and co-op became repetitive quicker than i would have liked, but i find the mp gameplay to be really solid. i would give it 7.5 or 8. they fact that they gave the replay such high scores, and it's all because of the mp shows that they underated it a bit.

i hate how so many people complain about reviewers not using their whole grading scale, keeping all reviews between 5-9.5, but when the full scale is used people bitch. 7 is "good" people.
now i still do agree that an F or 1/5 is still low from what i hear of the game. while DNF seems like a bad game, most reviews haven't said anything about the game being broken.
^ the game was canceled because it was destined to be another over promised/under delivered game by the assface, Molyneux. that and MS had a cut-off time for fist party Xbox game development.(wiki)
