in an interview on Giantbomb, Scott Rohde didn't know for sure, but Scott thought if it connect through a USB port it would make sense that it will work.

i'm a little shocked too. the free online has been the biggest trump card Sony fans have been pulling all gen. now we all just want to give it up because PS4 doesn't have crazy DRM like XBone. not shocked Sony is doing this, but i am shocked Sony fan base isn't making a bigger deal out of this.
the only reason i can thinkpeople aren't upset would be the fact that a lot of people like what PS+ has been offering, i know i have, and they don't see ...
i'm with you. the fact that i didn't have to pay to play online was one of the biggest factors for me to stick with Sony. now i'm unsure if i will even bother with a console. might want to pick one up for the exclusive SP games that will be released, but from the first day of E3 it looks like the SP and MP will merged in most games this gen. i am unsure what that will mean if i just want to play SP.
it is, but it can also get repetitive. also, it can be hard to get the drops for the cooler stuff, but its up to u if you want to put the time/money into getting them.
i get your point, but you are coming off way too angry in your post. it's cool bro.
not for me :(. i lost my saves, so i did a quick play through for the first 2 games before 3 came out. Garrus died at the end of 2. i was so shocked and upset, but it felt too meaningful to change.
all the graphic comparisons arguments that dominated N4G most of this gen proves this. not to mention all the talk about the weakness of the Nintendo consoles.
i doubt that they where the biggest cause of the original price of the PS3 being so high. bluray and cell development was the cause of most of the cost. though i have heard that Nvidia did kind of take advantage of Sonys short sidedness. they had to pay a bit more for the GPU they bought because Sony was just planning on using the cell, but at the last minute they had to run to Nvidia for the GPU because the cell wasn't enough.
that's a short sided view. the Titian is about having the top performer, not the best bang for the buck. lower powered cards tend to lead price/performance ratio, so if that is what you're looking at, the Titian, 680, 7970, or other top of the line cards won't be much interest to you.
@ginsunuva
we really can't say for sure whether another box will be released next gen. we are all sure cloud gaming is the future, but how soon it comes depends isp companys. not just speed matters but also data caps.
i do think you are right about next gen being mostly if not all about the cloud. which makes the up coming gen more important. MS and Sony will be pushing the cloud a lot, and whoever wins will already have a customer base for their future ...
This really is the biggest reason I haven't bought a Vita. They need to get a lot closer to 1GB to $1 for me jump on board. Don't see that happening though.
I'll give you the uncomfortable argument. it took me a while to get used to kb/m when I first starting playing on the PC. spent most of my time playing on consoles, so the move wasn't the easiest, but I don't think its much different than getting used to a new controller. spend some time with it,and it becomes second nature.
@adorie
3rd person shooter/action game is the only time I prefer the controller.
Kinda my thoughts as well. I'm just not sure what he means by a it being more closed system than a PC. Does that mean it won't be upgradeable, or that it will have a Steam running as a closed OS? Maybe both?
Also wondering what will be in the box. To run PC games on high setting will cost a lot of money, and will take a lot of power. Not to mention the noise.
Maybe running an OC a10 5800 with OC memory could be enough power for most people? I really...
The way Shane was talking on GT( which i think gets the most say in VGA's) i didn't think Journry or Walking Dead had a chance. Journey, maybe to give them some cred, but i don't see how Walking Dead wins, even though i enjoyed the game.
ME3 was my #1, and Journey was my #2.
1. people complain day 1 updates for everything. be it games or hardware. when people buy something they just want to use it. especially on the very first day of release. no it's not the end of the world, but it is a legitimate complaint. no one(that ive heard) is saying to never update a console.
2. people complaining about waiting are just excited to use their new system. i would think these people are pro Nintendo. i don't get why arguee with them when, it seems, y...
U know Rikku is like 12 years old?
No. It wouldn't make any sense. Maybe MS will have an arm version of win 8 on the nextbox, and that is how the could claim PC games on it. outside that, there is no way they would eat up there console business by allowing royalty free games on it. It would destroy the console market.

i'm pretty sure Peter Moore said on gametrailers that they ran on PC. he did say it was suppose to be at XBone spec.
