Man seeing this makes me remember how awesome it felt to own a 360. Nearly everything was on it. Nearly everyone had it.
Not to say owning an Xbox one is a bad thing. On the contrary, I've found a lot of recent use for my one x especially since Gears 5 dropped. But I HATE having to play with PC players. I hate how ranked mode (since that's the only way I can play without PC m/k players) takes forever to set up a game. And I really hate how much emphasis is placed o...
Battletoads isn’t out yet so you can’t say it’s somethjng new Microsoft has done. Wait until the game actually comes out.
But, SoT and SoD2 both came out in terrible shape, akin to MCC. They are better games today but only after significant overhaul. That’s a huge issue with some of Microsoft’s games. I think it’s really shitty to take money from someone when they buy a game and then tell them to wait for patches. I mean, MCC and SoD2 were essentially unplayable! It doesn...
Truth
I think for Sony this doesn’t mean much. They were so successful with insomniac as second party, the value of becoming first party isn’t a huge jump other than the security of them not going to a company like google or Microsoft. You could argue that it’s a win for Sony since all those studios Microsoft bought are still contractually obligated for 3rd party releases.
For Xbox this doesn’t mean much either. Xbox fans (sadly) dint jump into their release with SO. Not having ...
Anyone know if these ports are Pro/X enhanced?
Let’s not forget Xbox, specifically the 360, did this EXACT SAME THING. Everyone always acts like Sony is a bad guy here. They are just making PS4 gamers feel special, nothing more. Microsoft did the same thing with GTA4 DLC, Fallout 3 dlc, bioshock, COD until BO3, titanfall 1 and countless more. As a 360 primary gamer in the first half of last gen, I loved it! Now that the shoe is on the other foot and since Sony won me over with their kick ass exclusives last gen and this, I freaking love i...
Agree. It’s a super solid and fun game
Stupid emojis aren’t working but I was trying to make it slightly sarcastic and whimsical ^_^
Another critically acclaimed PS4 exclusive
@mandingo
While a one X is nice, it’s a luxury that not everyone wants to plunk down on. The upgraded consoles are a small fraction of the users because most people honestly don’t care about either the x or pro (hence why the one X is always on sale - it’s not flying off the shelves).
And like I said in later comments: the Xbox one is a secondary system. It’s there to essentially to augment what isn’t on the PS4 (which isn’t much tbh). So if most people a...

JFG needs to be rebooted!
I see that. The one X is pretty great and has so much potential from a technical perspective in my opinion. I can't same the same for the One S but thats only because the standard PS4 has become the defacto development platform target.
I don't often hear of most people (and bear in mind most people aren't gamers like the ones here) having 3 or more game consoles. I think most will have one or 2. I think for most people, they're quite content with the stuff ...
I’m tired of waiting. As a console gamer I jumped headfirst into the PS4 this generation followed very quickly by the Xbox one as a gift I gave myself for graduating med school. And, despite a summer of fun with titanfall, I rarely recall fun experiences from Xbox that year (2014).
I was a self proclaimed 360 fanboy last gen up until 2010 (right after reach and Alan wake) After that, Microsoft seemed to forget about me. They stopped making killer gaming experiences. Everyth...
😂
Buying studios doesn’t mean high quality games are here now. The Xbox one x didn’t all of a sudden cause a smorgasbord of high quality exclusive experiences to pour out and didn’t sway the hardcore gamer to play exclusively on team green. And, in this hobby, the hardcore gamer sets the pace for the market. They’re the ones who tell all they’re friends what to buy. They’re the ones who often work in gaming sections or game stores and promote games. They’re the ones who create content and share...
Sadly, this is true.
Explain how Sony and Nintendo are “fleecing” gamers? From the original post and, last I checked, I don’t see practices such as microtransactions, loot boxes, live services, extensive post launch content based exclusives from them.
When I buy a PS4 and switch first party game, I’m reasonably sure that the game I’m buying is a complete experience and meets a standard. There might be added dlc or post release patches or added experiences later, but that doesn’t affect the mai...
I’m not sure. I think gamepass is a great idea for them but does little for the fan base. Xbox deserves high quality exclusive experiences, the 360 had these (early in its years anyway, after Kinect these seemed to be less); he’ll even the OG Xbox had them. The way Microsoft is going with the Xbox though, I think it leaves little room to push for these high quality experiences. Why go and put time and $$$ into games of the same vein as Nintendo and Sony when you just need to make a game that ...
@xRacer74x
You’re in the minority my friend. PS4 sales of the game proves that. Asking a developer to try to focus on adding a platform, I feel, would detract from its quality.
