the maximum bandwidth on the xbox was 6.4gb/sec were on the PS2 it was 48gb/sec for the embedded dram and don't forget that the processor on the PS2 was 128bit@300mhz and the xbox ran at 32bit@733mhz
the ps2 had the faster processor and had a higher bandwidth motherboard but the xbox had a gpu with much better features like HDR lighting and multipass rendering for bumpmapping
Dead rising uses havok physics and the zombies all have there own animation routines quirks and ragdoll physics and all cast shadows along with other objects although I don't know what shadows have to do with the cpu as they are generally done on the gpu
nobody I know with a DS or WII wants to play old childish gameplay styles people who want something different buy a WII or DS and want games like trauma center or wario ware not rehashes of old crappy platform games this is why EA will never do well where the real money will be in the next few years

Dirt is better on the 360 than the PS3 codemaster know their game better than anybody else so every time they decide to show it off to the public in the form of a demo they show the 360 version and I said this the other day about the rockstar giving a demonstration of GTA of the 360 version to game informer which also mean's that in it's current form the 360 version is better than the PS3.
the battlefield HD trailer on the marketplace is both funny and impressive I showed this to friend who were more interested in the halo3 stuff and everyone agreed the battlefield game looked far more impressive
that the version demoed to game informer by rockstar was the 360 version dev's tend to show the best version or the most advanced version at the time to game journalists as the best way of showing off their new game. So obviously at the moment Rockstar themselves think that the 360 version of GTA4 is the best or they would have shown the PS3 version instead or as well as the 360.
And I know for a fact that you can walk into a shop and just pick one up for chart track to blame stock shortages is just lies the wii is still like gold dust to get hold of the 360 until march was hard to get hold of but was really plagued with stock shortages and rumors of them hold back stock.

do you know that the xbox version is backward compatible with the 360 and looks stunning upscaled and with AA and can be picked up really cheap of corse you can always wait for the 360 version which will have the expansion packs etc.
Think about it all those live arcade games that ain't going to get bought a little bit of advertising at the start of the game like this game with made free only with the power of duracell or pepsi or if they could give you the choice of paying 400 with ads or 800 without for the new stuff anyway i'd be interested to see which game made the most money uno and geometry wars or luminaries
buy a ds and get the advance metroid game and all the castlevania games you won't regreat it all of them are as good as super metroid if you look hard there is a dould pack with aria of sorrow and harmony of dissidence on hours of metroid style gameplay there
