buy's exclusives like the bioshock collectors edition, took me a whole day of walking and driving around to find the limited edition oblivion when that came out only to find out it was exclusive to game the assistances in the other shops i went in did know if it was available as it didn't show up on there computers to me this is unfair competition.

halo isn't scripted it has pretty good a.i. troops use cover flank enemy etc. were bioshock is different is the verity of stuff they use in the a.i. like sh!t i'm on fire need water to put my self out, or he firing at me must teleport or fight with them self's the enrage that what make bioshock different plus it's an open ended sandbox fps.
showing the video may have broke an NDA contract with a publisher, lose a publisher and lose a whole load of development money if the latest build was shown at a major computer show like libzig or tgs it may have won alot of awards and created a huge buzz about the game like say half life 2 or doom 3 did so no wonder they are pissed.

I beleave they use part of one of the cpu core to permanently compress and decompress data to the gpu and they do this for the sound as well that is already done on the cpu it's a shame they didn't put more cache on the cpu for this sort of stuff but they seem to do a good job with it anyway
the reason I brought up bioshock was because halo revolutionized the fps by giving the enemy proper ai routines and squad mechanics unlike say medal of honor where it was walk so many steps and the guy appears there in the same place every time

the last thing I would describe bioshock as is linear all the small battles can be taken on in your own style the game has no levels what so ever,
the story changes deepening on your choices apparently you can mutate your body to look like a little sister so the big daddies will protect you or you can mutate yourself to look like a big daddy so the sister will collect adam for you.
it will the cleverest fps ever made even though it won't have a million baddies on screen at once....
