Good read. Wasn't Okami the first good port from the PS2? Twin Snakes on the GC was awesome btw. I'd like to see Left 4 Dead or the Orange Box on Wii.
The concept of a perfect game is obviously lost on most people. Unless every category is a 10, then the game isn't a 10 overall. Killzone 2 is a solid 8.5. No more, no less.
I'd give this review 5 out of infinity.
Guys, don't sell your 360s just to play Killzone 2. Trust me, not worth it. Sell your 360s for MGS4! Sell them for LBP! Buy the really great games on the PS3 and not the snoozefest Killzone. Resistance 2 > Killzone 2.

Anyhoo, I'm on my third xbox now (RROD, E74) and I just refuse to use my PS3 for more than it's exclusives for some reason. While my Xbox was broken I played the multiplats on the PS3 and was just not convinced. If it wasn't for the XBL being a couple steps ahead of the PSN I would probably jump ship too. And then there's Halo. . .
I would give this game a 10 if it weren't for the crap online. Do yourself a favor and don't try out MGO. Pretend it never existed.

Clonezone 2, I mean KILLzone 2, while being a very good game is definitely not as good as you make it out to be. I'd give it a nine tops. It's a pretty shallow game online, with few guns, few classes, few maps and few gameypes. The game is really easy too. I mean, any game that you can get the highest rank in in three days is definitely not "the deepest multiplayer experience you will ever experience"...
What I find interesting is that people are still willing to buy the broken 360 over the PSTriple.
I have the E74 now (yay). I used to be able to wrap it up and it would work for a day or so. Even after extending periods of wrapping it up (5 hours or so) I started getting the RROD. But, the most interesting this is this: when it blinks with the RROD it would suddenly switch to blinking the E74 error light. I'm pretty sure that that E74's error overtakes the RROD error. The best part of this article is that if anyone claims the PS3 has better percentage of quality games, you can say that the PS2 infact lost last gen because of its shovelware. The PS2 was bought by more moms than the Wii anyways.

On a serious note, what does HHG mean when he says "the same quality as Killzone 2"? Does he mean graphically because the 360 already has several games with equal or better gameplay.
What's so great about Killzone's online? I mean, it took me three days to get the General rank. The game is so easy! Tip: get the revolver (ten kills over eight games with the pistol). Halo 3 is alot more challenging online which suits competition whores like me better.
It's because out of the 20 mil PS3's sold, not all of them were bought to play games. Think about it. It's the cheapest Blu-Ray player (I'm told) so some of that 20 mil bought the PS3 to play movies and not MGS4 (crazy, i know). I think the 360's sales are better because it's bought primarily as a games machine even though it plays DVD's. But everyone already has a DVD player so that function is moot.
It's refreshing to see how little you value games that aren't on the PS3. FEAR 2 is averaging about 80 so you think no exclusive game from M$/Nintendo will be or score better. I smell fanboy.

Seriously, from the video review (on IGN) you see the weak looking zapper and flamthrower. For a game that has so much graphical muscle, IGN found it wierd to have such low grade visuals.

The 360 has 5 AAA (90% or higher) exclusives: Mass Effect, Forza 2, Halo 3, GOW1 & 2.
The PS3 has 4 (a smaller number than five): Killzone 2, MLB 09: The Show, MGS4, and LBP. The Wii also has 4 AAA exclusives so congrats on finally catching the "inferior" system. :D Let's continue!
