Fail review is fail. I hate it when people start a review with I've never liked said game franchise and start to review the game with their biased preconceptions.
Would it be honesty if some of your most favorite games were rated a 3 or a 4, tell me will you still think it's honesty??

What the hell are you people talking about. A new steel battalion, a dragon game that is spiritual succesor to panzer dragoon from the phantom dust guys. Suda51 game, two survival horror games. Please tell me what exactly is casual about them, do you really think these games will appeal to soccer moms? These games are niche and the only people who will play this are core gamers.

the install base is twice as big as it was when halo 3 released. Seriously there is no doubt in my mind that halo reach will outsell halo 3.

WOW they gave starcraft 2 a 8 as well. It's not a surprise they gave modern warfare 2 a 10, when all of the call of duty games have had EXACTLY the same gameplay spanned over 6 games. I'm sick of people being wowed by cinematic scripted games, they might as well stick to watching hollywood movies.
All these 8 reviews read like people who are dissapointed halo reach isn't just a sequence of scripted gameplay events like all the call of duty clones.

256 players in mag is impressive from a netcode perspective but processing wise The kind of AI halo boasts it's mighty impressive to have 40 of them on screen while the cpu calculates all their routines. For example it's a lot more expensive to create 40 robots that simulate human beings and perform a particular task than have 256 human workers do the same, imagine cost = cpu power.
You have to understand that halo technically has A LOT more to process than most lineair shooter like COD and killzone. Halo's battlegrounds are a sandbox and it's one of the few lineair shooters where vehicles are integrated so deeply into the gameplay formula, not just groudbased but also in the air. Let's not forget the AI, which has a lot more routine than simply walk towards target and fire. They can pick up weapons, flank, retreat, hide, cover, order, take a vehicle, drive a...
Bloggers really need to stop acting like their decent critics. Being a critic doesn't mean you can just spout your fanboyish opinion and slap a score on it. It's disrespectfull to real critics, who at least have some form of journalistic degree or experience and have to wait till the embargo lifts.
