I don't understand what's the problem. The gears of war 2 tech demo looked exactly like the final version of the game. No one ever said the 100+ enemies would be smart AI. You would get massacred in 10 seconds if you fough against 100+ enemies who can all take cover, flank you, nade you etc. The meat cube was implemented in a way no one would have expected and it looked awesome.

Yes that's true there hasn't been a simultaneous release of any jrpg world wide on both consoles. I do think however that because the PS3 has a bigger install base in japan, any jrpg getting a simultaneous release will have a bigger total on the ps3. Well shooters always did have a bigger audience on the 360 so this is no surprise. What is surprising is that DICE seems to favor the ps3 version (beta release, patches etc.)

No you're doing it wrong, it's the JRPG genre that's getting a lot of generic games this gen. FPS genre is doing pretty good, there has been a lot of evolution in the genre. Don't believe me? Check out perfect dark on xbla and compare it to modern FPS'.
