Holy crap at all the games for 2010! And this is just one publisher! 2010 is going to be nuts for gaming. I have a feeling a lot of good games are going to get less than stellar sales in 2010 because there are going to be SO MANY OPTIONS!
I buy pretty much all new release games that interest me (a lot of games) with not much trouble money wise...but man 2010 is actually looking pretty scary for my wallet. :P Thank god for gamefly... that will help some. :)
This game is going to be epic. You'd be a fool to pass on it if you like hack n' slash beat em up games. At the very least rent it and try it out... I think a lot of people are going to be surprised.
If it's true that Sony is working on the US version to bring it up to snuff, then all the better but even if they didn't I would still buy this game.

A 360/halo fanboy bashing KZ2... BIG SURPRISE!!!
I enjoyed most of the KZ2 maps, but I do have to say they could use some work. Some maps had to many choke points that funneled players into it and caused a huge mess. I like it when there are lots of options for traversing a map. I like to sneak around the enemy and catch them by surprise at their back, but when there are only few routes to get across a map with choke points littered throughout.... it makes it tough. :P

I loved KZ2 and it is an amazing game but there is definitely some things they could work on for the next one. Mainly with the single player campaign. The vehicle sequences need some work... it seemed like the tank part was just thrown in there just to have it. You couldn't really go anywhere in the tank so all you really did was sit there and blast stuff for a min.
I'm all for some variety and while the tank and mech suit were "okay" I certainly think they could amp...
I can't wait until they finally get around to remaking FFVII. I just hope it is done right and doesn't ruin the original masterpiece.

I don't even like sandbox games a whole lot but InFamous is one of my favorite games this gen so far. No one should miss out on this game. Glad to see Sucker Punch is seeing success with this new IP.
I have a mic but only use it when playing with friends. I honestly could care less about yaaking with randoms. Rarely I'll get into a squad with ppl that have mics and try to work together and in that case I'll hook mine up.
Sorry but for most games a demo doesn't do the game justice. There have been many games where I've played the demo and went "meh", then I play the full game and it totally blows my expectations out of the water.
I've also played demo's that I thought were pretty cool, then the full game turns out to be pretty lackluster. I thought the Uncharted 1 demo was pretty weak, same with Valkyria Chronicles, but those games are fantastic games that I would never want to miss ou...
There really is no need to defend GoW3 because that game will speak for itself. I'm very excited about GoW3 and think it will be a fantastic experience. What annoys me is when people dismiss a multiplat game for the sake of it being multiplat. People seem up in arms against bayonetta because sega did a shoddy job of porting the game to the PS3. Bayonetta is indeed a hack and slash, but the depth of the combat, amount of frantic action, and some of the amazing set pieces you fight on look ...
Do you honestly think the reviewer is saying that Bayonetta is better than GoW3 without playing it? I'm pretty sure he's referring to the past God of War games, and essentially saying that Bayonetta has set the bar that GoW3 needs to meet/overcome.

Sorry but don't judge a game just based off a short demo. If I would of gave Ocarina of Time a score just based off the first dungeon...I prolly would of given it a 7 or so. I kept playing and it's one of my all time favorite games. 10/10.
You haven't even played the game... WTF do you know? Famitsu gave this game a 40/40...an honor only a few select games have gotten. So far all reviews have been very very positive. I'd say this game is looking to be pretty damn epic.
If this game had English subs I would import it in a heartbeat, but I doubt it's going too. :(
I really wish they would include Japanese voice acting in the US release.
