It's sad really when you see the PS3 beating the 360 on the 360's home turf. This is obvious proof that the 360 is losing steam because everyone knows PS3 outsells 360 in the rest of the world minus the UK.
I enjoyed the beta quite a bit... but I couldn't help but feel like the game was meant to be a Third Person shooter instead of a first. It seemed like it was a FPS to appease the masses of FPS fans. I'll probably pick this game up, but I can't help but wish it was a TPS like Socom. :/
I hope they can rectify the lackluster Halo 2/3, and bring back an epic game like the original Halo. From the info given it sounds like they could accomplish it... but only time will tell.
I fear for MS with Natal. They are going to try and sell a casual gaming device/gimmick to a brand new crowd of people, most of which don't owned a 360 already. Trying to dip into the Wii's crowd of ignorant(not saying all Wii owners are ignorant) non-gamers who probably never even play their Wii.

Doesn't matter. You can be the richest company in the world, but if one of your products isn't being successful or turning a profit then it'll be cut off. Big wigs at the top don't care about video games, they just care about making money. No company would willingly hemorrhage money just to keep something on the market. Do people forget Timesplitters? Didn't that game come out before Halo on the PS2? That game was amazing and had the same type of control setup as halo. It even had it's own map creator. Timesplitters is probably one of the most underrated console FPS games ever.
While I do enjoy my PS3, I'd probably say I'm more of a PC gaming loyalist than a Playstation one. I don't care what comes out for what platform in the end so long as it's good. I'm not afraid to say something is crap even if it were on my system of choice.

PS3 version has shadows that look more jaggy, and the 360 version looks a bit more blurry overall.
