Put out a commercial that was the same thing you watched at the end of the demo (ballad of death trailer I think it was) then it would of gotten LOADS more attention. People like to see what the in-game looks like... not some cutscene with a slow-mo bullet. People also LOVE to see high ratings on commercials or advertisements. It sparks interest in a game that the person otherwise knew nothing about.

It will do decent but honestly...what superhero games push tons of sales? Not many.
Also the hero in Infamous is unknown so it won't sell to a preexisting fanbase like most super hero games.

I absolutely hated those jackass nerds who would "hang out" in the store and run their mouths about random things and never buy anything. They would even have the nerve to spout out their fanboy opinions to paying customers and try to get them to change their mind about their purchase. So annoying.

Some employees love to pushed used games to no end. Having a high % of used games sold on your profile makes you look good to the company. It's really freaking annoying when you get one of these jackasses selling you your game.

They usually only open the ones they use for display in the store. After they gut all the display copies they need, they keep the rest sealed behind the counter. Problem is when a new popular game comes out they want a ton of displays so a lot get gutted.
Another problem is once a games initial sales rush wears off, they usually only keep 1 copy of that game "New" and this copy is of course the display case. If they sell that one copy and another person comes in the sa...
And that 25/30$ is STORE CREDIT. If you want actual cash you'd probably get 15-20$ if you're lucky.(can't remember the exact % they they off for cash) So the money never really leaves the store. I can see selling the game back for a profit, but the profit margin they make is TOO big.
Gamestop also supports crime if you didn't know that. So many times while working there I've had people trade in stacks of the same brand new sealed game for a quick buck.(druggies)
Playing a last gen game with a new coat of paint really isn't that fun to me. I'd rather still have PS2 graphics if they could make some new and exciting games.

One of the best FPS games out only sold 1 million!?!? Wow that is really gonna put a damper on my awesome PS3 exclusive experience with this game. I can't enjoy these unmatched console graphics, awesome physics, fun gameplay, and a robust MP. Now that I see it only sold 1mil this game suddenly sucks.
