Did you play ZOE? The game is an amazing mech game. Fast paced high speed air combat at it's best. Good story and good graphics. A ps3 exclusive ZOE would have SO much potential and I know Kojima could pull it off.

I agree auto aim really ruins a FPS and it totally unnecessary. Is one of the biggest reasons I stray away from console FPS. FPS on PC is just so much better in so many ways. Virtually lag free servers, a superior control scheme, and no auto aim. The only console online shooter I've enjoyed since Socom is KZ2. One of the biggest reasons is the lack of auto aim.(I know it has a slight auto aim when zooming it but i never even noticed it so it didn't bother me)
It's crazy how so many people started with Halo1 as their first online game. I guess mostly younger people, or people who didn't have access to a PC. I think my first true online shooter was Rogue Spear on the PC. That game was freaking awesome and I was insanely addicted. Before rogue spear the only multiplayer I did was like Doom 2 or Quake over LAN.
I never got on the hype train for Halo1 because I had already experienced great online FPS like Counter-strike and Half-life....
..get this game on PC then you can always play virtually lag free, AND use a superior control scheme.

How have you never played Perfect Dark? Have you played goldeneye? You must be a very sheltered gamer or very very young.
KI never really did it for me either. Felt very mediocre to me. I never understood what the big fuss was about. People saying KI3 360 exclusive would be a systems seller kinda boggles my mind.
Perfect Dark was a supped up Goldeneye and you didn't like it!? What wasn't to like?
PDZ was horrible tho IMO, so I could care less about PDZ2. Only a new conkers game from rare could really spark my interest.
ZOE and ZOE2 were some of the best games on PS2. FACT!
