I honestly don't care what platform the footage I have seen was on, it was very impressive. Same with crysis 2, the footage I saw from E3 could easily have passed for PC...when it's that good; there is no need to pick through straws.

The enhanced edition content is free for anyone that bought the original game.
Most developers bring out a GOTY edition and screw over their initial fanbase, not these guys, if you bought the enhanced edition the content was on the disk, if you already bought the game you can down load it for free, you should go get it and the latest patch....I played it for the first time post enhanced edition, but I hear it makes the game run much better and the also re-recorded lots of Dia...
So true, the funny thing is that the MAIN selling point for a lot of console games is the visuals...lol, Farcry 2 and even F.E.A.R 2 on PC look better than every console exclusive.
I said it from the start, the only game that would make me buy a PS3 was FF13, but I changed my mind, I don't want to invest in a platform with no longevity so that me +$10 games can sit in a pile at the end of this generation incompatible with the next hardware that we apparently must have... ...

My 1 collective disappointment is that a lot of the multiplat games only showed the console version.
But of course they are not going to show it on PC, because PC is not a product that anyone at E3 owns therefore, devs gets $ incentives to show off the console version.

I'm very happy this game had it's roots in PC, because it's sad to see so many 360/PS3 exclusives ( oxymoron ? ) to never get a PC version...I still have my fingers crossed for PC FF13... if this is supposedly using the engine from FF13 as well, then maybe EIDOS will pass the sales chart along and I might finally get to play it...

That might be true but I owned a DS and a DSi and there were very few games that interested me...
People might think that old SNES/PS1 ports every other month are a god send but there were very few good new IP's on DS/DSi
Traded them both, and my Wii, hype might win fickle people over, but i've been a long time Nintendo fan owning all their console's and all handhelds but they just don't do it for me anymore

You're forgetting the big picture here.
Perpherals should ALWAYS come before graphics and gameplay.
I mean Nintendo has built the Wii userbase on AAA title after AAA title, it's not like they just threw out a gimmick to sucker people in to buying shovelware.
and the PS3 and 360, just look at all the NEW genre's that have come out of the innovative technology they are using, before this generation FPS games were unheard of...

I'll explain my usual game installation process:
Put the disk in, click install, take the disk out, play the game.
I wonder why you had such difficulties. User error?, no it couldn't be that.
I have all my save games and patches and modes backed up, 1 folder for each game, nice and easy. I have never even played a PC game with a game breaking bug, patches are mods are OPTIONAL.
BFBC2 was my first and last.

They said it was run on a PC @ 360 specs. It will look just like the demos.
