I don't know what the big deal is...my gtx280 is 2.5 years old and it is well above the requirements. It's only a problem when the GPU you bought 3 years ago cost $50... they don't last forever, but an 8800gt512mb will last until the end of this generation, I'm pretty sure a 9800gtx+ costs about $79 now, that is 3 times as fast as the required GPU

How can you agree with this, he says he doesn't believe in demo's but he is all for a $#!+ tonne of DLC...sounds to me like he doesn't want to give anything away for free and or/ doesn't want people to know how bad his games are until they are released.
Demo's are awesome, they never work in the way the developers intend because 99% of the time demo's turn me off the games and with good reason:

Ignorant is right. There is a trend to give games by big publishers and developers consitently high scores, even when they are deemed average by the users. There is nothing wrong with questioning the validity of a review.

I say again...this game is nothing to brag about, being able to run this game in 1080p at it's horrifically poor visuals at it's 30 frame cap it's as much an accomplishment as running tetris at 1080p.

dude, this is one of the worst ports for PC in recent years no AA option in game ( you have to force it through control panel ) and it is capped at 30 frames, it doesn't support quads, it is DX9 only, no PC bonus features, not one, of all the multi's that are worth mentioning, this is not one of them.
Why cares, seriously I loved the games too...15 years ago. I also loved doom 2, but I have moved on, people have an unhealthy obsession with this overrated franchise.
It's just nostalgia, it was a good, game, I had many good times playing duke nukem 3d and the side scroller games. I also had fun playing halloween harry, but I don't go around raving about how good it was.

Every second game I buy is EA published, I think I have bought 1 activision game in the last 3 years.
Nvidias CEO takes a $1 salary a year, and no I'm not joking, I suppose there has to be something on the books, he takes stocks each year, so a similar thing could be happening here, the NV CEO is worth a couple of hundred million and he has another hundred million $'s in shares, so the Nintendo CEO could easily be getting 50 million $'s worth of shares each year his salary doesn't count for much when there is the whole package to look at.
This is a load of $#!+. Activision probably makes 30% of their console game profits from that region alone, it's just another empty bluff, as said above, the console industry is thriving profits wise, no way they will get a tax cut.
