I buy all my PC games in physical format, I just don't buy them from stores, it's a self perpetuating system wherby they don't stock many games in stores, so I don't go there...so they stock even less. But it started with them, not me. So i'm fine for them to make less money while I pay $20 less for the same games online.

I don't think you have played an open world game in all it's glory, just how much pop and texture steaming do you get in a game like fallout 3...and draw distances....the worl might be open but you can bet your ass the draw distance is 1/5th that it is on PC.

Imagine becoming dependant on not only continuing to pay to play software, but at the end of the day not owning the hardware, that's a vicious cycle if i've ever seen one...after a few years people won't be able to justify the cost of buying their own gear and will be stuck on Onlive etc...

UT was rocking on my 32mb graphics card back in the day, at it's time it was possibly the best looking game out there...
Unreal tournament 3 on PC is the best looking UE3 game and also the first....what does that tell you. Developers are lazy. I guess other developers other than EPIC also do not know how to use it properly.
Any PC gamers here....grab those TN panel monitors and throw them in the bin...last night for shits and giggles I connected my PC up to my 40" KDL-EX500 sony bravia....I saw colour grades I did not know existed...
I subsequently got rid of my desk and got a USB extension cord for my midget keyboard cable and gaming never looked so good...

We have had at least 10 articles with the exact same title, enough is enough. Do they honestly expect people to feel guilty?, you can bet your ass that movie companies want video rentals dead too, but it's never going to happen.
With game rentals they have to keep the retail prices down so people don't go for the alternative, renting and buying second hand.
Mirrors edge was a great gaming, i'm saving my next playthrough for my next PC upgrade though, physx is a killer...

People here really don't know what they are talking about. From the PC version of RE5 the "cut scenes" are real time rendered and the visuals and performance of them are reflected in your game settings, I don't see how the console version would not be real time when the PC version is, if anything they would all be the same.

We'll see soon enough, I really hope this game sells well on PC as I want to see more developers come back to PC..but I also don't want Bulletstorm, a game at the very top of my to but list...to come with DRM
I'm 99% sure that they already announced that it was going to go multiplaat and that the console versions would simply come later. That really doesn't make it any worse than an exclusive as PC is very much the primary platform, just look at the graphics and epic settings... PC driven for sure.
