Huh????
Yeah, I kind of agree. If the mid gen upgrades are successful from a sales point of view then you have to figure that Sony & MS will want to cash in on it every year.
That's cold. True, but cold!!
Well that's...............Disap pointing.
Hopefully there will be a SweetFX setting to address this

"there" is a place, not ownership
Yep. PS1. But I have lots of love for the Genesis
If you Google "Map of broadband coverage in ______" (put whatever country that you'd like in the blank space) you'll see why physical media isn't going to totally die
I think that you might be missing the point though.
If your console is drastically under powered compared to its competition when it's released then what are developers going to do a few years into the console's life when the games that these developers are creating are placing demands that the hardware of your system can't provide?
The developers will simply not utilize your hardware. So then you're stuck in the same relentless loop that ...
Yes
Dude, I'll be 49 next month and been gaming since the Atari 2600. I'm not going to waste my time reading this
Yeah, that must be why
Don't confuse Smart with Popular.
"Only 34% of Steam users play games at 1080p, says Valve "
That's a 2 year old story
"92% of Steam users use 1080p or under, so is GTX1070+ overkill? "
This doesn't even link to a story, just a discussion group
Kind of curious what your point is???
Isn't that the purpose of a beta?
@BlackTar187 I don't think that you really didn't read what I wrote. What I meant was if you live in the USA then it makes sense that you would prioritize those numbers because that's your home territory. More than likely, that's where your friends are and where your family lives so those folks are probably who you're going to spend most of your time playing with.
If for example, you live in the UK then you're probably not nearly as interested in wha...
I'm curious, if someone is American, why wouldn't the NPD numbers take precedence to that person? I can understand your comment if the people who are putting weight to those numbers do not live in America or are not American. But you can't honestly expect someone to not care about the numbers in relation to the country that they live in.
Jade Empire
Exactly. Another overconfident Sony and we have that train wreck that was the PS3 launch all over again
Yep. Lots of hype so far over what was simply a spec reveal. We'll know more at E3. Personally, I'm willing to hold off until then but I am impressed with the specs.
Now, let's hope for games.
