based sony
you guys expect an instant price drop? kinda weird. i'd be upset if i bought a brand new game and instantly it's half off
This article is really comparing what's written on the box with the post install size? ok... let's wait and see what they both are. It's not even the download size OR the post install size of the PS5 version
So the article is intentionally misleading... interesting
Game pass seems good, but I would rather own games. Shoot, if it made sense, everything would be physical for me. Some games don't make sense, though
I heard the same thing; that it was an old dev kit. regardless, it's a cold boot and not what i'll see 99% of the time
clickbait
It's not up to Sony. that's what they're saying. if a developer wants to develop only for PS5 and not PS4, because they can only achieve what they want on PS5, Sony isn't stopping them.
It's also the opposite of Microsoft's approach. They want their users feeling like they're not missing out on games because they didn't want to upgrade.
Everyone keeps acting like the variable clocks mean they just randomly move up and down. it's based on the developer. it won't even move based on heat, because they're gonna have a killer cooling method.
I see there being only 1 PS5, but 2 Xbox models. The one we've seen is the "pro" model. The cheaper one will be as cheap as possible, letting them have a higher price tag on the pro. 400-450 for ps5, 450-550 for xbox.
@Neonridr Quest can be linked to PC, but it's not very good. movements are very weird and delayed and you get black boxes when you move your head until they fully load. That's wireless or wired.
he said it was 825 GBs for the base. it was because something about it being the natural size for what they have with the 5.5GB bandwidth and 12 channels. as far as i can tell, based on what he said, they'd have to double it for it to keep that optimization.
@Unspoken. I actually think the game looked better than that cgi trailer that was shown anyway. the trailer looked funky and less realistic than what the game looked like.
Yeah, but unless it comes with the original controller, also, then it's more expensive. Maybe it comes with some other extras to make up for the price increase. We'll see.
The video isn't /really/ at 60fps. It just makes the 30fps more clear. It doesn't even look close to 60. You can tell that it's 30.
I clicked to see if anyone brought that up. lol
I don't know why everyone thinks Bungie owe Microsoft... Xbox wouldn't have been much without Halo...
I'm hoping, since you can plug in any set of headphones into the controller, that we can play splitscreen and hear separate audio. If that is the case, Sony have potentially fixed splitscreen. The other problem was splitting the screen, but they have fixed that with supported TVs and hopefully they continue to support it in PS4 games. I would want that to be a standard thing on any 3DTV.
Is that true, Neonridr? Can you actually copy them and play them off of the hard drive? I didn't see anything in the article.
it's smart. loyalists have the exclusive and pc gamers get to experience it later and may even buy a ps5 to play the sequel
