What would make the next PSP amazing would be for it to be touch screen and have slide out controls with two analog sticks like shown in the picture. Then have the ability to get cell phone service with any service but it be optional. Then have the hardware to almost meet PS3 graphics as well as have full PSN interactivity.
I think that the PSP will do well in 2009 with releases like Patapon 2 and Resistance: Retribution along with the release of the new PSP 3000.
I understand what you are guys are saying but please be sure to read the article as it has a very good explanation of whether it will be announced this year or not.
I definitely agree that 2009 will be the year of the PS3 although no one can be sure because look at 2008. Everyone thought 2008 would be but even though it had good games it didnt beat 360 by much.
WOW I disagree completely with Resistance 1 being better than Resistance 2 even though it is opinion. Neither have I heard anyone else say that. Resistance supports 60 people instead of 40, 8 player co-op, better graphics, and the story might not be that great but is not much worse compared to resistance 1.
You guys need to look at in all perspectives though. Gears of War 2 is an AMAZING game and if you have yet to play it you can not really say that Resistance 2 is better. The Xbox 360 had an amazing year as well as the PS3 but what determines who had the better year is all dependent on your gaming preferences.

EXACTLY!!! The point of this article is not about what the new Xbox will be called. That is why if you read the article you will see it states that. Who cares what the next Xbox is called.
That is why it states in the article
"Even though there is much doubt that it will come to the 360 there are many people wondering if the Xbox 720, or the next Xbox, will use the Blu-Ray format."
No offense but I think you read the article a little wrong. It states in the article
"When Sony first announced that they would be using the new Blu-Ray format for the PlayStation 3 Microsoft stated that Blu-Ray is a format that is not needed for gaming. This has obviously been proven wrong over the past years with the recent success of the Blu-Ray format."
Which means Microsoft was wrong about saying Blu-Ray is not needed.
What makes the 360 amazing are the great titles like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 along with their strong Xbox Live experience. They also have cool things like in-game video chat and achievements in all games. There is much more!
I understand that the PS3 is more superior hardware wise but you need to understand that the general public is going to go with the cheaper console.
I definitely think that Microsoft has shot themselves in the foot with the Red Ring of Death problems. Microsoft has been sending out the new Jasper 360s which supposedly fix the red ring of death problems but I think it is a little too late for it. Even with the red ring of death, the Xbox 360 is an amazing console.
Microsoft definitely is going to need at least one great exclusive in 2009 and do not be surprised if that title is Alan Wake. I know I can not stop the fanboys but that is not mainly what I created this article for. I am trying to provide gamers with the true state of this console generation and what is going on. I am very unbias and believe that if people read my articles they could enhance their knowledge greatly and maybe stop being a fanboy.
After you read the article it would be greatly appreciated if you gave your true and honest opinion on it.
They just need to wait and focus on PS3 and wait till the hardware for the next PSP goes down that way they can release it at an affordable price.
