Hype does not make a game worse. If you read the article you will understand what TheGamerAccess is stating here.

This would be FALSE because I hear just as many 360 owners complaining. Most of the fuss is due to not being able to shoot and walk at the same time.

That is exactly what the article talks about. Most Resident Evil fans will still enjoy the game and if you are new to the franchis, get used to the controls before you complain.

If you guys consider IGN,GameSpot,Gametrailers, etc as "true" gaming blogs, you have not researched this enough. These companies get paid to put out "their" opinion and "their" reviews. For example, Microsoft might go to IGN and say we will pay you X amount to give this game a 9.5-10. If the money is right, IGN will put that score on it and treat it as an amazing game even if it isnt. Blogs like this give their true and honest opinions and do not feed into the cra...

So you would consider IGN "real" gaming journalists?

Then do not comment cause what your saying right now makes no sense at all. The article never states Sony said there would be one. If they were to release an amazing commercial, everyone would see it and it would cause buzz. This buzz would make people talk and then it becomes very good marketing.

I did not spread a rumor, it states that they were expecting a commercial.

This article never stated that it was announced. It states that it was expected.

I am actually a steelers fan and football fan there so you do not know what your talking about there. Second of all, sales should matter to you because the more it sells, the more support the title will get and the more DLC it will get because they know there is a large fan base. Third, who even said I wrote this article?

First of all, this articlewas just posted and the Super Bowl just ended so it can not be redundant. It might be about the Killzone 2 commercial but it explains how this relates to the marketing. This is not similar to the other articles in any way so please read.

If you read the article, yo uwould clearly understand why Sony is making these statements.

6217d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Of course it would but it would benefit Sony more if they kept the system the same price for the first month or two to get the hardcore Killzone 2 fans and then once the sales start to slow down, announce the price drop.

Killzone 2 already has well over a million preorders so I expect it to sell at least 2-3 million the first week.It will definitely sets records for the PS3.

I expect Killzone 2 to break the games sales record for the PS3. Already over a million preorders.

Sony has just about as much 3rd party support as Microsoft. Microsoft has Gears of War which is a third party exclusive but then Sony has Metal Gear Solid 4. True you guys have Halo which is a third party exlcusive with maybe one or two more but it is about equal. Sony builds stuidios to produce brand new IPs which take time to develop and grow sales but once the name is out there, they will truly begin to benefit from it.

I definitely agree on 2007 being Microsofts year and 2009 being Sony's but I would have to disagree on 2008 being Nintendo's year.

If you guys would read the article instead of just assuming this you would understand my point. PLEASE READ ARTICLE BEFORE LEAVING A COMMENT.

Microsoft is spending their money on buying multiplatform games and turnin them to exclusive while Sony buys studios and bulids stuidos to build brand new IPs.
