I completely agree. Fetch quests for whatever given reason are dated. I love Fallout 4 but it definitely feels old school in its design. The Witcher 3 has raised the bar.

It's such a shame how this franchise has gone dark after it took a wrong turn (looking at you Dead Space 3). The first game is still my favourite; the claustrophobic Ishimura was dripping with atmosphere and I actually preferred the choice to make Isaac a silent protagonist.
Dead Space 2 was also a very good game but didn't quite top its predecessor.
I really hope this series gets a terrifyingly great reboot!

I completely agree with killing the most enigmatic and interesting villain being a bad decision, especially considering it was midpoint through the game.
With that said, FarCry 3 was a great game but i really didn't warm to FarCry 4 and although I tried my hardest, several times in fact, it felt more like an expansion rather than a full-blown sequel. And Kyrat didn't interest me as much as the tropical "paradise" in FarCry 3; does anyone else feel the same?

Are you guys serious? Whilst the graphics aren't jaw-dropping, they are more than sufficient given the scope and scale of the game. In my opinion, the graphics are very good; the lighting is fantastic and it looks phenomenal at certain times of day and with weather effects. I will mention that I saw Fallout 4 on my friends LG TV, which is fairly averge and it made the game look lacklustre when compared to my Sony Bravia (with motionflow impulse enabled).

The problem is not just the awkward movement and general gameplay frustrations, it's the lack of direction in regards to the overall plot and its conclusion. The Legacy of Kain series was truly ahead of its time. Soul Reaver remains one of my favourite games; the story, art direction, mythology, it was incredible!
