I disagree that no-one outside of gaming circles has heard of the imminent announcement of the PS4.
I am the only person in my office that is passionate about gaming and follows the gaming news but nearly everyone i work with (about 15 people of various ages) has commented to me that “ooh have you heard about the new playstation, i bet your excited!” or similar comment while waiting at the coffee machine.

That was the thing that finally pushed me towards buying a Vita. I owned 3 flagship games plus I had PSASBR on Vita due to cross-buy so it became a no brainer to take the plunge.
Its a great time to own a Vita and im looking forward to more great game like Soul Sacrifice.

Ive got a 16gb and that works fine for me.
Ive got Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Peace Walker, Jet Set Radio, Wipeout and Lumines all sat on there. Once i finish a game i'll delete it to make way for something else.

I totally agree, Metal Gear Online is one of my most favourite online gaming experiences. The customisation, strategy, depth of gameplay, variety of game modes, and features like clan support with fully user created emblems, all this together made it a brilliant game.

Predicting gaming trends and announcements is his career, he has access to market data and insider information that we don't, and yet despite all that he is consistently wrong or talks complete bollocks.
I think the reason that it is hated on is that it is seen as a step backwards.
Most people on this site are fanatical about gaming, hence why they come here to get all the latest news from every possible source. We get excited about new technology because it opens up new possibilities for gaming and we are skeptical of something like the ouya because it offers us nothing new.

I think your spell checker mangled Killzone 3 into Killeen 3, either that or there is a highly regarded game out on the ps3 i have never heard of.
I've tried Kinect and in no way did i feel like the controller.
