then stick to your ps3 or buy the ps4. LOL...Next gen gaming isn't for everyone. When we went from tapes to CD's...People said the same thing you are saying. LOL...they just didn't want to let go of old worn out tech...The future is coming and old head will resist and that's okay. Stick to the old tech...But many will enjoy the new tech and eventually we will all look back and get a good laugh about how we couldn't see the vision Microsoft had at the time, but it will all ...

It's amuzing to me when people try to explain something that they don't understand. Microsoft has been working on this for over 7 years and they basically future proofed the xbox one. It's not rocket science people. They have 300,000 servers for their cloud. The cloud will be utilized by developers to AUGMENT the game that is installed on your system. Xbox reps are stating that the xbox one will be 3x as powerful than with the cloud augmentation. If your internet gets interupte...

Speak for yourself! LOL...

For any gamer that feels like you...buy a ps4...When the dust settles, we will see what is what! I'm very confident that more gamers who pay for xbox live monthly will continue when xbox one releases...Time will tell. While we are playing in the true next generation...play your not connected ps4 and limited hardware.

What many of you aren't understanding is this....

There are 50 million xbox live subscribers that will most likely continue their xbox live accounts but on the xbox one at some point. If you pay 60 per month now...you love the services and you love the community...That won't change. You probably love the games and all those games you love & more will be coming to the xbox one.

The xbox one will not only sell to those gamers who are on live NOW.....

You obviously don't understand how the cloud works in regards to the xbox one. It's okay. It's a forward thinking future proof investment that MS has made and people will understand when they see the difference in the games! And no its not like telling a pc gamer to invest in onlive. Onlive is playing the entire game from the cloud servers. Totally different and not even close to what MS has done with the Xbox One. The cloud will augment the games that are running on the console....

My bet would be that the ps4 outsells the Xbox One at first. But, once friends of friends start seeing the games in action and all the cool things the xbox one can do outside of gaming...the tables will turn and turn quickly. Its funny because I was thinking why would Microsoft make a console that was less powerful than the ps4. Microsoft has all the money in the world, all the tech in the world, and a huge user base. But the more and more I read about the cloud and the infrastructure that Mi...

LOL...you don't need to buy it. But why would you hope that no one else does? That's strange to me. I'm super excited about the xbox one. It's the only truly next gen console. With the cloud & Kinnect 2....Games will be Amazing! Honestly, I don't care how many consoles they sell, I just want to get my hands on it and enjoy next gen gaming

Onlive was playing entire games on the cloud. Not the same as what xbox one will do! If your internet connection goes down, you will lose some effects and maybe detail..but we are talking about without the cloud...the xbox one is 10x that of the xbox 360 and with the cloud 30x the power of the 360...so while yes you would lose a little, it would still look great without the added effects from the cloud. Once again....the cloud wouldn't be running the game, it would be augmenting the game....

Also, there isn't anything wrong with Microsoft leading the way for the next 10 years. Who really believes that being connected won't be normal 5 years from now?

Stop resisting change and understand that this is the way of the future.

I live in Seattle and It's actually strange to hear that there are people not connected online!

Welcome to a new age! Kudo's for Microsoft for pushing the industry forward!

From what I've seen on the technical side, the xb1 is truly next gen. Not only that, with Microsoft leveraging their cloud services it feels like the sky is the limit.

Microsoft's vision for the console is really well thought out and looking pretty far ahead. I'd argue much further than Sony is capable of competing with. Off-loading some of rendering or computing to cloud-based servers means that unlike the PS4 (as we've seen so far) there won't be a hard...

I think....LOL....

You sony fans can think all you like to and speculate all you want to, but xbox one & ps4 3rd party games will look and play the same...PERIOD!

Sony 1st party games will take advantage of the ps4's raw power and xbox one's 1st party games will take advantage of the CLOUD and xbox one's raw power! And BTW...Game developers can use all 8 gigs of ram in the xbox one, how ever they chose. The system reserves 3 gigs of ram when ...

4758d ago 5 agree20 disagreeView comment

Sony fanboys would like to believe that the xbox one has only 5 gigs of ram for games. NOT TRUE as stated by an xbox rep! If you are multitasking..for example gaming & skype or skype and tv, that is when the 3 gigs are used! Only a sony fanboy would actually believe that Microsoft would only leave 5 gigs for ram! LOL...So lets find another way to bash the xbox one before it's released. LOL...

BTW...Xbox Ones unique use of the cloud with all those 1000's of servers...

It makes me laugh when the same sony fanboys that scream and yell about how the ps4 will have better graphics than the xbox one..(which tells me you have the proper 1080p HD Tv to get the most out of your console)..but yet you complain about internet? Who doesn't have internet in this day an age but has a 1080p tv? All gadgets...use wi fi in this day an age. Everyone on this site uses internet connections...But yet you complain that the tech has advanced to a point that it would prefer to...
