PC has real simulators. GT5 is a great racing game but some of the features that make it a better game such as the leveling system take away from its simulator status. The tag line should have been "the real driving simulator game"
Yet Day 1 world sales are no where to be seen.............
Photomode is basically a bullshot generator and many of the cars/tracks look great while many are just plain horrible. Take a picture of the worst car on the worst track while you're taking pictures of the games good side. Can someone let me know when 1080p became 1280x1080? Last time I checked that wasn't 1080p.
The game is just an inconsistent mess. It shines unmatched in some areas and is just plain sad in others. It seems like they were just trying to do way too much with this game. Had they focused more on less they could have done so much more.
Edit: Having played it for hours at a friends house it will still be purchased at the same time I eventually buy a PS3.
Sorry, GT5 cannot be considered a non apologetic simulator racer. A simulator would immediately throw you into a realistic and difficult racing experience. GT5 requires you to level up to unlock the more realistic and difficult options. GT5 is first and foremost a game, a great and varied racing game at that. PC has and always will do real simulation. If you're looking for pure simulation go there. If you're looking for a fun game continue what you're doing.
Sorry but it is so painfully obvious which is GT and which is real life. 1, 5 and 6 are GT. Shadows are a dead giveaway. Next time use real in game shots too, not this photo mode crap. I love how people are so quick to call bullshots when it comes to any other game but not their precious. Great looking game, not real life. Vehicles aren't exactly hard to make look good either. How about some photorealistic plants with physics, that takes some work. Even GTA III, VC and SA had some decent ...

No but for $1 a month you can spawn with an extra magazine. $2 will get you armor piercing rounds. $10 for one man army and $60 for tactical nukes at spawn.
