I've had a slim since Tuesday, August 25th.

MS = retaliating

You've seen the photos and you've read the review, but how do you feel about the the PS3 Slim's design? The Slim is 33 percent smaller and 36 percent lighter than the older PS3s but it is now noticeably deeper than before.

The CNET New York office seems to be split down the middle. Some editors think it reminds them of a turntable, while others think it's a slick improvement. Editor Scott Stein sees the console's wideness as odd, while Justin Yu thinks the black matte has a vinta...

spitting out drivel and obvious bias who should be called to the carpet.

i used to use their site everytime i was looking into a major purchase and this is just irking me.

on another note. shadow complex rules.

(Another) tilted CNET ps3 slim article "PS3 Slim:Everything you need to know"

Apologies for breaking the rules so badly when I submitted this. It was late and the article seemed silly...

...but what does it say about a site's reputation when they can be swayed to be biased on game consoles? hell, they're biased toward a piece of hardware with an alleged 33-54% failure rate.

what does that tell me when i check out their reviews to purchase an hdtv, or a prosumer camcorder?

edit: also, their review for the 60gb launch was 4/5 as well. does that mean the slim and its features are on the same level as the 60gb launch?

screw em.

what captures video games better than shots of folks' faces playing video games. maybe a bit stylized but the concept is solid.

also, im not so sure anymore that tv ads do much. we need to stop complaining about sony advertising. is there really much of an roi to tv advertising? the most advertised games ive seen are mlb the show and infamous and neither got a huge start.

think cnet hired an 8th grader:

While all new technology product rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt, you can sometimes tell--often by the volume of online chatter about a particular morsel--that one is more likely to turn out to be true.

That seems to be the case with the so-called "PS3 Slim," a rumored new PlayStation 3 form factor that could well be on the horizon. And if the latest slew of blog and forum posts are right, there's a pretty good c...
