This is exactly why they are doing it. They know their fanbase full well. Intelligent offerings from sony, I'd offer pretty much the same if I worked for them. Offer old games because sales are slow on them now anyway and offer a game that is shortly due a AAA sequel.
couldn't they just buy new in a year or two. that's what I do and it's cheaper than buying a pre-owned game soon after its release.
This game is gonna flop big time. Even more so than Brink.
I didn't realise that they took out some missions just to release them as DLC. I don't like to say this but the 360 really held back this game. DLC should be something a developer works on when the game is finished not something held back deliberately because it would require a fourth disc.
They talk about a lot of compression used as well, perhaps this is why sites are reporting the ps3 version as superior. I think the argument that blu-ray is not needed can be dead...

Bioshock and Rage for me. Bioshock because it's something unique and doesn't feel like a straight up shooter and Rage because it's from ID. I can't not buy an ID shooter.

Just pick it up in the next steam sale if you can. It still requires a GFWL account to play but someone released a patch that allows you to play the game without running GFWL at the same time. Helps increase game performance and you don't have to put up with the annoying GFWL interface and pop ups that are in your face.
lol at the awkward aiming of using an analog stick. Shouldn't be that bad though the guy playing must just suck. Can see a bit of auto aim there too.
Remember when everyone on n4g used to pretend microsoft reported shipped and sony reported sold to consumers. How wrong they were, good times nonetheless.

I would blame someone for getting mugged if they brought it on themselves; for example if they went strutting around all cocky with the entrusted money of others hanging out of all their pockets at the same time provoking the very people most likely to mug you. Sony did. But I forgive them only because they provide the best games and I'd never pay for online.
I like him. At least he's cool unlike most of the geeks around here.
