Look at the way fps and tps have developed this gen from last gen. There has been plenty of innovation across the board it is just that once the innovation happened it has remained relatively stagnant and progressed little, largely due to the graphical capabilities.
This is why advancing graphics is so important. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it opens the door to gameplay possibilities that were previously unthinkable.

man, GT fanboys are so defensive. They know GT5 was a let down in so many ways that they have to trash the superior rated series this gen at any given opportunity. I'm not saying GT is a bad game, on the contrary it's very good, but deep down we all know Forza is now top dog. Don't come crying about sales either.
