It's not pathetic. I sometimes cheat for fun on pc games. What is pathetic is when you play an online multiplayer game only to have some moron in their 30s taking the game way too seriously and shouting their head off at you because you're not a pro. Happened to me in left4dead2 scavenge.
p.s. not played crysis2 but the graphics look awesome there.

There are only a few games that I ever get emotionally attached into their universe and Mass Effect is one of them. I feel like I've been through the journey with all the characters. Such a nerdy thing to say but it's true.
ye black ops is a 6/10 game at best(multiplayer wise) but once something's popular, quality goes out the window as a reason for buying.

I guess people just find it fun to kick sony when they are down after the way they launched the ps3, I'm guilty of it myself at times. That and it's the least popular console in America so it's the easiest to get away with smack talk.
I've defended edge in the past, but I think the only reason that they gave crackdown 2 an 8 was because they said something along the lines of having to eat their hats if infamous 2 is better than crackdown 2. This gives them the fall back of giving infamous 2 a 7 or at most an 8. Also, crackdown 2 was received poorly and edge are usually pretty harsh on reviews(which is why I like them).

I think it looks ok. It's pretty bland but it's the sort of design that will grow on you. Sleek and simple.
But if it's only just as powerful as the 360 or ps3 then you'd be an idiot to buy it. 360 and ps3 have a huge and successful games library. Why do we need to fork out money to play some casual mario games in good graphics.

To be totally honest, they could have offered nothing and I wouldn't have cared. Technically they don't owe you anything since it is a free service. It's almost the equivalent to arguing that microsft owe you because you can't play your new game online unless you give them more money to do so. Then again I haven't been on PSN since the christmas holidays so it's no wonder I don't care.
