They are actually no new games worth playing now, imho. Everybody's waiting for BF3, ES: Skyrim, MW3 to come out. I haven't turned on my PS3 or Xbox for several months already.
The formula which was once new and innovative back in 2007, got really stale now.
yeah, Cod4 is the only playable title in the series(not counting the first ones). Next goes MW2, but it's totally ruined by all these ridiculous killstreaks and perks. And don't even get me started on black ops.. it's worse than average.
I wonder how MW3 turns out. I have very little hope though.

Wow, what a great publicity for CoD: MW3 which is coming out in november. I bet that after all this massacre it will sell much more than last year's BloPs and become the best selling game of all time once more! Activision should be happy! And Kotick is laughing of his ass now, greedy bastards!

Nope. When I try to find an online game, I usually have to wait about 5-10 mins to start a full match, which is horrible. I'd better play CoD and start playing instantly.
And yeah the MP in Crysis 2 is Boooring...

Was really addicted to CoD4, loved it and played the hell out of it, about 13 days worth of gameplay. Then came MW2 which was really dissapointing, all these crazy killstreaks, commandos, marathons, lightweights and quickscopers were just too much to tolerate and to cope with, and most important the game lost its charm and fun. But still it was a good game.
Then I tried BloPs. The first thing which I noticed was that graphics were worse than MW2, they were really dissapointin...

That's not a bad thing when it looks great.
