PS3's quality and eventual success was at the cost of billions of profit lost for their hubris. We saw the same thing for Xbox One.
I know of a lot of Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 users who all want to be able to play with each other.
Sony might just want to remember that the last time they put the business before the players was the PS3.
Yes, but everyone else is doing it with PC and other consoles. Sony is offering PlayStation users a lesser experience for multiplayer while also offering poor explanations for why you can't. To the extent that they're straight up lies, where Sony talks about protecting its users from policies of other platforms, yet like you said, they already do cross-play despite that "concern."
Believe it or not, I once had a friend who straight up preferred that rather than Ghosts'N Goblins be given an easy mode, that it just be cancelled.
The word itself is very cringey.
The question, ORK, is what they are complaining about. For example, you would agree that - at least in the past - it was a lot more common to see an Arabic villain than an Arabic protagonist, yes? This is not true for white Americans, who are likely to be in either group. The issue isn't that "Arabic characters are the villains," it's that "Arabic characters are the villains for the 800th time." It's about Arabics being disproportionately villainous, not that t...
Me too. I liked Fortune Street for what it was, and the other half doesn't matter to me. Final Fantasy or Mario, I'm probably going to pick Dragon Quest every time.
To be honest, the stock issue seems to have been addressed simply by reduced interest.
I agree with amiibo features on some level, but it disappoints me that there exists any paywall for hard mode, which has been an unlockable in multiple games.
I agree, TenNapel got unnecessarily weird about an article that was mildly critical of his work.
Yep, that was also my takeaway. Of course it's only a neat trivia for all 11 since I'll never get DQX on it, but 1-9 + 11 is awesome. The ultimate Dragon Quest machine.
It is well-deserved, and I hate to be a spoiled sport, but unless something has changed, VGChartz is not a reliable source for this figure. The creator has not sufficiently demonstrated the quality of his methodology, and in the past has changed his estimates based on later-released information by NPD and the like.
That said, I'm really happy. Horizon is my favorite Sony IP, and I hope it goes on to be their biggest.
I can't emphasize how happy I am about this game. And it has multi-player? Someone give me a chair, I'm gonna faint.
I do so hope we get to a point where Switch is getting more multiplatform games. I understand why it's not, but it'd be nice to play the Dragon Quest XI release on the go.
I adore this series. Always happy to see more people talking about it. MS2 is good, but MS3 will always be my fave.
It looks like a decent enough game ,but so was the last Chibi-Robo!. I'll at least check it out when it hits a decent price.
*reads article*
*notices a conspicuous lack of the best dog, Missile from Ghost Trick*
*proceeds to rioting*
Not really lol. It was a good list that I'm glad still delved into lesser-known dogs like Walt (and the dedication is pretty great too), but I'm still a little sad that Missile didn't make it .He's the most doggy dog that ever dogged! ;(
Honestly, I rather enjoy Humble Bundle each month. I'm glad to hear that this month holds so much value. Pillars of Eternity is worth the cost of admission for me, and NBA 2K17 I can at least sell to a friend for a few bucks.
I always appreciate seeing weird little articles about games like this.
Like I said in the article though, GNG clearly can work with an easy mode. UGNG is still a ton of fun.
If an optional easy mode ensures that I can play these challenging games for longer without seeing the whole game dumbed down, I'll take 'em.
