Much appreciated!
Honestly, I think Konami would do well to hand the reigns to an indie dev like Sega did.
Buying both versions :3
I can respect that.
Hmm, my apologies. I swear I didn't notice it in the list, but I might have just glazed over it.
Yeah, finding out about MT's origins was interesting.
And agreed that SMT is lagging behind in terms of western popularity. It's a lot harder a sell than Persona, that's for sure.
A masterpiece indeed.
Dragon Quest Builders is a great game for fans. It's a great nostalgia trip, and it's pretty well-made too.
I didn't even think of Puzzle and Dragons, haha.
I would personally disagree Rob that ALttP was a mere lateral improvement. ALttP was more linear and story-focused than the previous two, was the first to have puzzles as a significant aspect, featured numerous concepts that defined the series' formula while not being present in the two before it, Most definitely it is more similar to Zelda 1 than Zelda 2 is, but that does not mean that it's not a huge game. It's what I consider one of the three big Zelda games, alongside LoZ and ...
Yeah, I think that the Mario RPGs, especially the earlier ones, have been pretty consistently good games.
But in all seriousness, plenty of people enjoyed Mario 2 and Zelda 2 back in the day. Them sucking is a recent invention.
Because they didn't exist, how could they be asked for
checkmate :smirk:
In my opinion, Zelda II is hated for what it is and not whether it does what it does well.
So are Mario 1 and Zelda 1. :v
Yep. I actually prefer Mario 2 to the first, and I go back and forth between Zelda 1 and 2 being better than the other.
Um, okay lol. Perhaps you don't care about the issue, but you sure do care about being bothered by it, haha.
DBZ Fighters is a new branch of DBZ fighting games, so it's unlikely that such an article would need to exist. Especially considering that the source doesn't have very many possible female characters, and next to no dark-skinned characters.
Well, from what I understand, Disney holds a lot of creative control over this, so there is American input as well, which I would argue would result in more dark-skinned characters. The issue is also that in the past, Capcom had more dark-skinned characters, so it's not entirely that they're a Japanese company.
Way I figure it, it's more interesting to me to talk about lesser-known JRPGs - especially something as off color as Recettear.
