Sony respected the fact ND don't want to do anymore uncharted games but it's a very valuable IP so they formed a new studio in San Diego which will take care of uncharted series

It's not complicated Sony and Nintendo do well because they give gamers a reason to buy their hardware. Exclusives help sell consoles which in return help sell mora games
