When ms gave up on Og Xbox to release RROD machine, gave up in the last few years of Xbox 360 to say they are focused on next gen and gave up on last few years of this Gen so Xbox fans can say wait till next Gen

Because ps4 is a world wide brand and Xbox is a USA brand Sony has more software support. Sony has built its brand world wide they are strong outside the USA while ms struggles big time to establish Xbox outside the USA and maybe UK. The reason Ps5 will outsell the Xbox series x is because gamers have invested thousands of dollars and hours building their gaming library and their friends all have ps4. This is a huge advantage and ms had it with Xbox 360 but squashed it. It's easy to sell to your consumers a new product in same line so ms has an uphill battle
