I been saying this Sony Owns the movie rights IP so marvel needs Sony to agree so marvel can use spiderman in their movies
In return Sony wants spiderman to be exclusive and it's a deal that makes sense for marvel. Marvel will make a lot more by having spiderman show up in their universe. Sony gets a win win as they dictate how spiderman is used and they know how big this IP is(proof is in the pudding look at sales of spiderman on PS4)

Ms will not let xblive requirement go away because it generates billions so we need to stop. It would be nice if Sony and Ms let's us play online without needing plus or live but let's be honest here: both services generate billions on yearly basis

It wouldn't surprise me if that came at the cost if spiderman character being exclusive in order for marvel to be able use spiderman in their movies(I could be wrong)

This will be huge 20+ million seller game. This IP is so huge for Sony especially after they release the first one on PC so naturally they should grow the interest in the sequel

It was a average show and it looks even worst because of how much Phil Spencer and Xbox PR hyped the event. Their first event was CGI and now their 2nd event was mostly CGI. The one game they showed looked like a last gen game
