Day one patches usually are for stability and other bug/glitch fixing that they could not take care of before sending the discs for certification. I watched a YouTube unboxing and disk one is the play disk and disk 2 is the data disk
Best part is all the content is on the two discs so nothing to download. I was really afraid the EA would put half of the content on disk and the other half on downloadable voucher
But this is the most complete version on physical disks

All Ms made games and many 3rd party games. It's all about expectations. You get people use to just paying subscriptions chances are many would happily play only those games and wait for others to show up

You should care because next 12-24 months will be very crucial for Ms and gaming industry. GP has a future but not at it's current price and need a lot more subscriptions. It's a valid concern that many Xbox gamers may decided GP is good enough and they don't need to buy many games(not saying they are wrong in thinking that but gaming industry will not take liking to this)

Microsoft are playing with fire by getting the consumers used to not paying anything besides subscription. You think these multi-billion dollar publishers will sit behind and let a subscription take over rather than sell a full priced game? I usually don't buy their games at full price. I buy COD games games years down the road for their SP only and I buy very select few EA titles. I will buy ME remaster only if it's quality. You are right though

They actually have more than 2 teams. They have a dedicated ratchet and clank team that works on the IP. It seems they have a dedicated spiderman team now so their 3rd team is on work at something. Rumor/leaked documents has it we will get an announcement for sunset overdrive remastered soon and a sequel or expansion is also in development
