I agree, I love games like Dark Souls, we need more games like that.

Ubisoft is going to have to announce this on MTV, because most of the people who buy this crap are part of the ever expanding casual audience, aka people who don't know much about gaming (lemmings).

Does anyone really expect console sales to continue growing year after year?

Although I do agree with the comments above, I despise the flood of the casual audience that is currently ruining gaming.

Try to tell that to the Halo fanatics that use xbox controllers, would you ever catch them saying that the Dualshock is a better game for a FPS? How about PC gamers, ask them which control is better for FPS games compared to every other genre. Some controls suit a specific genre better than others, but it's not a big deal of course.

I have more friends that play Xbox so I'll probably get that version. But imo GTA games feel better on the PS3 controller. I've always played GTA games on ps consoles.

Fun read, I would get Skyrim but my Xbox360 only has like 3GB at the moment, I would get it on the PS3 but I risk experiencing what you went though for $60. Shame for such a great game.

Don't know which console to get it on, but my PS3 has more space on the drive right now by a longshot so I guess it'll come down to that.

So what? yes Sony should make systems easier to develop for, but the games right now on the PS3 are phenomenal!

WTH are you fanboys smoking? If this info is anything to go by, the PS3 is doing great in the software department. MW3 sales are not too far from each other in sales, after that I see an onslaught of casual games, just tells me that there's a lot of casual gamers out there, (Just Dance lol, Kinect Adventures, lmao).

Probably because Skyrim was a joke on the PS3 thanks to the great developers who made it...

it's official that you're a biased fanboy. Smart people will buy both consoles and not pay so much attention to sales, I personally haven't bought an xbox yet only because I've been told that they tend to break after a year or so. Not to mention the major userbase consists of Modern warfare fans and sports fanatics. I'm sure I would enjoy it though just as much as my PS3.

I've played MW2 on the PS3 and Xbox, and out of those both experiences I got this: It's a simple arcade shooter, hailed exactly for that reason. It has turned into a mainstream shooter that teens, jocks, "thugs", etc. play and think it's the best game ever made. Microsoft was smart in staying close to Activision, them pairing up headsets with their consoles and with the typical depth-less shooter you get a lot of lemmings lining up to pay you their hard earned money.... ...

I'm sure my 8 yr old niece will love this. After all, Nintendo is mostly just good at focusing on the casual audience, aka your little kids, preteens, and a few "adults".

I want nothing to do with Apple's products, they are overpriced and should be more reliable. The Ipods suck, the ipad is a waste of time(touchscreen is an inconvenient gimmick), and any damn portable device that plays games such as their iphone isn't a fragment of what you can really get today in terms of gaming. Once again, casual trash dominates reliable innovative products.

I'm getting Skyrim next week on the PS3. Buying a PC or Xbox for Skyrim would be dumb because there are practically no other games I'm interested in on those platforms. Hopefully they fix it, if not I'll return it and keep enjoying UC3 and FIFA 12.

TDM and the rest of the online multiplayer in BF3 have little in common. I started off mostly in conquest, and man did I have a rough time. Now I know not to cross the street when its too quiet, to avoid tanks unless I'm an engineer or support, to use everything or anything I can for cover, etc., TDM won't teach you any of that unfortunately. Once you get the idea of BF3 online, you might consider it miles ahead of Mw3, like I do. :)

maybe because most people playing COD on xbox360 are kids who don't know much.

Tablets are stupid, a damn gimmick. I mean the whole purpose of it is to use its touch screen. but its a pain in the ass for that, so might as well get a laptop.

I learned not to pay attention too much to sales this gen. There's simply nothing that the xbox360 has that captures my attention. But everyone seems to love an overrated game(MW3) and a casual piece of hardware. Two things I have no interest in, THERE are your sales, just like the Wii had its incredible sales, MS is catching on to the casual train, and I rather game on Sony's black box and its AAA exclusives.

I'm talking about what I see. A stereotype is usually at least partially true. I said there was a small amount of gamers who used Home moderately. I'm talking about the people who spend their lives in their, and somehow manage to get in a few hours pf gaming. That doesn't leave much time for anything else now does it? I'm stating what I have seen in Home, not what I have read or heard. keep that in mind.
