Xbox Live is already a subscription based service. So is Xbox Game Pass. And Groove Music. And Mixer Pro.....
Maybe, but if they said nothing people would be complaining as well. I like to hear that the CEO is conscious of the ecosystem and it’s needs.
@automatic79
You make excellent points. I feel that if Phil has he way, we will see many more AAA exclusive games on the system.
All I can share is my opinion because there isn’t much proof on either side of the argument. What I find very interesting is Microsoft getting more involved. Recently they promoted Phil within Microsoft. He now sits at the table with Nadella. What that tells me is that Microsoft has some big plans for the brand. However, I don’...
As an Xbox gamer I also want to see more AAA Exclusive games and I think that Phil wants that as well. However, I'm just not sure that's the direction that Microsoft wants to go. As mentioned, I think we are going to see more BlueHole, Studio MDHR collaborations. Either way, I am hoping we get a really good, exclusives games to add to the library!
I absolutely think this is a real possibility. Microsoft is a services company. The fact that it kept Minecraft on Playstation and Nintendo is very telling. I could totally see a world where you could log into Live on the Playstation (if Sony allowed it of course) and access exclusive content that way. Personally, I would love to see this.
There is NO WAY that Breath of the Wild doesn’t win Game of the Year!
It was close. I do think it's one of the most underrated LEGO games ever. For me, the first Marvel game is a near perfect game though but I wouldn't argue with someone picking City. Thanks for reading!
Great read. I'm very worried for anything EA is doing right now. It will be an interesting few years for EA.
I'm getting a lot of people responded saying that I got the Harry Potter games way too low. I'd love to hear your thoughts. What is the best LEGO game so far?
I'm still working on the 2nd island, but I can already confirm the score. This game is truly special! Great review.
I agree. I was a little jaded by Wii U I think and jumped ship too early. Now being back in the ecosystem to clear to see just how spectacular a console the Switch is...and is going to be. Nintendo has so much potential for this machine, it will be fun to watch.
I agree that this first year has been amazing. Just first party alone we have Breath of the Wild, Arms, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. That is just crazy when you think about it. I do think that the Switch has a bright future...though 2018 will be an interesting one to watch!
haha - thanks for commenting jlove. As I can see from your pic, I'm talking to a Playstation guy. And I totally get it, Playstation has a much better 1st party offering. I am just an Xbox guy. I love Xbox Live, I love the Controller, and I love the Ecosystem so it works for me. Most of the games that I want to play are 3rd party and they are out on Xbox One, like Assassin's Creed, Madden, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, etc. I do also love Halo, Gears, and Forza Horizon. Also, Cuphead is...
Could not agree more. I think they are by far my favorite Amiibo to date. Thanks for watching!
I totally see where you are coming from. To be totally honestly with you, I am not a fan of exclusive games at all. If I were in charge of video games (it's meant to be funny) then I would have every game release on every platform and give gamers the choice to play where they want.
For example, I prefer the Xbox One UI, EcoSystem, and Controller to that of the PS4. When Battlefront 2 comes out in November, I will buy it on Xbox One because that's the system that I ...
Man, I totally agree that I would HOPE the cost would be the same. My point was, as a fan of the Switch, I would happily pay an extra $10-$15 per game, if that was the cost of porting. However, you are spot on man, if this happens it should be a standard cost.
@ a_adji - I see the point you are trying to make, however I would have to argue that it's not he best. I personally sold my 3DS and use my Switch exclusively. So by keeping the libraries separate means that I have to skip Metroid...and Nintendo doesn't get my $40. I personally know 6 people that own a Switch, but down own a 3DS. If that is the ratio in my personal life, I have to imagine that there are plenty of Switch owners that don't have a 3DS. By bringing the software to bot...
This is a GREAT list! I could love the Bravely games on Switch for sure.
You make a very good point. haha :)
I agree. There was a lot of speculation going into launch about the X finding an audience. I think 600K is a great start!
