But pc supports hdr all the way, if they didnt do pc hdr update then it wont have hdr, thats not pc fault.
You don't need an pc monitor with hdr, you can just play on the same hdr tv you would use with console and there is absolutely ZERO HDR issues on pc, everything works just fine, if it something its devs fault.
Its probably some laws/taxes/licenses outside US issues.

The point is to play games, gamers would be really not interested in exclusivity if they could play sony games on ps4, xbox, pc, then i hardly see anyone would complain, what to complain there would be, that you can play great sony games on more platforms??? Well sony is making the same with pro, it marketing like those 4k hdr tvs, this is how it works and from now on just like sony they will only show games from xbox x and trailer rendered on xbox x also.
why 1080p tv? you can have 4k hdr tv and still ps4 and xbs will work with hdr, i know for sure that ps4 can output 1080p with hdr, it is just a format, tvs dont block if it is no 4k, also netflix stream with hdr even if it is lower quality than 4k.

Well on my pc i play it 60 fps and looks better than any version, yeah, very fell short... still better than ps4. (which i own too)

Well yes, but hdmi vrr and freesync are somewhat different, not sure with the tech spec but i do remember m$ said that X will support hdmi vrr and freesync so there must be a difference if they use both names. I think hdmi 2.1 and freesync could have different protocols as freesync is formally VESA adaptive sync.

On pc games go the fps you want it to be, tvs will support hdmi vrr.
For tvs its name is VRR.
