Cables are the same, they a physically the same and support everything HDMI 2.1 does support THE SAME WAY.
It just a cable that transmits digital data over wires, thats why it is so immune to any interference and is cheap and reliable, it doesn't decide a thing and have zero chips, it is the consoles chip that decides what to send and in what quality based on the negotiation with TV chip.
NO, you dont need a new cable AT ALL, most also have a good HDMI cable already.

Yes, it supports HDMI 2.1, 4K, 120 FPS any anything else.

Even a so called HDMI 1.4 cable is ENOUGH to support HDMI 2.1

There is no such thing as 1.4 hdmi cable, all current cables will work with hdmi 2.0 STANDARD, that means no issue with 4k, 60 fps or HDR, a cable is just this, a bunch of wires transmitting data, its the transmitter/receiver chips that negotiates the connection standard version, not the cable, if both supports it, then it will work (tv and console), didn't check 2.1 cuz it has a 4k 120 mode and this could require a 48gb cabl...
You have no idea at all about what u are talking, ofc it supports HDR.
You are confusing hdmi standard with the used cable, there are no such thing as hdmi 1.4 only cable, today's hdmi cables work with 2.0 without issues, not sure about 2.1, maybe some better ones are needed, but probably not.
There are ZERO physical connector changes between hdmi 1.4 and 2 cables.
Have you seen a 1080p movie? Resolution doesn't determine the visual fidelity, even the best looking game at 4k ultra is far away from 1080p like real-life feed quality.
So no, 1080p is not too low for next gen.
Nothing is outdated if they can't render photorealistic quality even at 1080p.
R&C transition is not 1.8 seconds and it would not take 4 seconds on xsx. Its not "transition" at all.
The R&C "transition" is fluid, continuos, its rendering, it generates at at least 30 fps, and you need to have everything loaded and ready to display each and every of that 33 ms frames on time, you cant wait for data even on SSD, it needs to be loaded or streaming in advance to ram, so gpu can use it, so by the time you see it, it was calculated and rend...
Nah, you can use your perfectly working old sound system, u will just need to buy a hdmi splitter/extractor adapter with separate audio output port like spdif or others.
M$ is not the first nor the last company to get rid of a separate audio output ports, many companies do the same, those hdmi adapters are available for years now and they are not expensive.
lol man its almost the same, you need to charge the batter pack, the difference is i have many rechargeable batteries and they all can be charged separately 4 at once, so u still need to charge a battery pack and then charge other devices with it, its is pointless and takes longer time for multiple devices than just put fresh charged bats in all devices at once, battery pack are also larger than simple AAA bats and can be stored in many smaller places
Well for a controller it would n...
U are ridiculous, ton of devices are using batteries, more an more, batteries wont go anywhere and swappable batteries slot is the best.
You dont need to wait for anything, batteries empty, just replace with your second rechargeable pack and you are done.
Replaceable slot give u also the freedom to choose you battery brand and you can get the best longest working you want.
Build-in non replaceable rechargeable is not good as if its empty you need to play with the ca...
Yeah, but it is just marketing, if was literally months before pci 4.0 release on pc, back then 2gb/s ssds were available easily, after pci 4, we now have 5gb/s ssd at hand, u think ps5 will have much more? Wont happen if the pc top is now around 7gb/s. Is almost year to wait, but that much wont change.
Sony can't and wont design its own ssds as it is not economically justified for them, its literally no point for them instead of just using the existing ssd tech and the same goes...
That could not be the case, there is also a technical rumor it will be an ssd cache disk of size lets say 256gb and at the same time a standard 1/2 tb hdd. (the rumor is the same for m$ console, m$ used words "used as virtual memory" regarding the ssd)
It would work the way that any running game files would be copied to that ssd, after a max of couple minutes the whole game would be on that ssd so only the initial load would be slightly longer, but then full ssd speed til u...
Lol this is bs, valve changed this years ago, check your sources, rdr2 does not even yet have a steam page so Rockstar doesn't need to release it on steam if they didnt want to, they really could sell it only on epic and their own launcher if they just wanted so

AMD doesn't care, they sell whoever will pay, its business. And it is up to the buying company what features they want, what do they want to pay for.

Well if its needed then there are hdmi passthru adapters with separate audio output available.

Just check ps4 sony licensed pro controller prices, pro controller on any console or pc are expensive.
Well if it will be just an easy ssd package for quick replacement then i see no reason we will not have some third party cases for ssds.
