As of now it is impossible to change one part in xone, everything is soldered to board, so i wouldn't make it a sure thing that it will happen, that was just an idea.
If you want to change ram, gpu or cpu (which are in one chip) you would need to change the whole board, i don't think that happen.
Maybe a new board with replaceable elements in socket, but then m$ would need to replace all the boards of alread...
