I live in UK, and I saw a bunch of LBP adverts this weekend, inbetween the xfactor final and/or desperate housewives-watching with my gf, honest ;) - theyre pretty primetime slots, however not seen any ads for anything else. Think also some for Singstar.
They need to be pushing Resistance 2, and even Metal Gear Solid 4 again, that did get some cool ads.

PC's arent really one platform though... all kinds of graphics cards/ram etc. and so people arent getting the same experience. Console just a controlled box that everyone has same so you can optimize for that. SO in a way again they limit results as Im sure they try to optimize for lowere performing as well as higher performing setups, and thats never as good as just going for the max.
One version will be worse than it could be, ie. not the best it could ...

However strangely enough the latest IGN preview spoke of "better looking textures and water, using the space of Blu-ray" ... But I suppose that doesnt have to do with Blu-ray at all, perhaps just more time to tweak. We'll see in the end I suppose.

Sorry man, but for me, and an increasingy growing number of people-including the US the 360's homeland, the PS3 just represents value.
The Blu-ray is not an unwanted edition, it adds MORE VALUE. I want my system to do more than games. So does Microsoft. They just wanted to make as much money as possible and get a year lead and were stubborn so they didnt include it and chose the failed format.
