Because I'll be able to save myself $50 a year and from being subject to all that marketing.. Plus I find that I prefer the exclusives on the Playstation over HALO and the likes on the 360. I'm a big car guy and Forza 2 was a let down to me as well.. In the end I like the direction Sony is going with all this high-tech and HD stuff.. 1080p, Blu-ray, 24fps, HDMI, HOME, PSN, etc, etc.. I like all of it.
This list is just the start of the bad release news.. I own both consoles but I expect to shift from the 360 to my PS3 more from this holiday season on. I hope I get to the point where I no longer need to pay for XBL but I'll leave that up to Sony and the PSN. This list is a sad showing of what's to come.. This was a good move, they were ruining the beta. Plus there were a lot of people who were accepted into the beta but weren't sent their keys because of the influx of people. Those who waited deserved to get in, those who cheated deserve what they got IMO.

With HOME on the horizon.. Not to mention GT5P being HOME integrated.. Plus there's that whole HOME website thing they're working on. While M$ did fine with XBL being first out of the gate I think Sony will redefine the market.

I really enjoy how everyone complains about all the Blu-ray topics.. Yet here is an HD-DVD topic in the wrong category but no one complains. The poster clearly has the console war in mind by posting this in the 360 category. This is a tech related topic not industry (gaming) or 360. So since this topic has been mis-posted and mis-approved it's turned into a Blu-ray vs HD-DVD flame war.
The bottom line is that this is only one movie.. Do yourselves a favor and look over the lack...

I know the last release didn't live up to the hype but this one will. I have the demo and find myself playing it from time to time. I've checked out all the trailers at gametrailers and like what I see. I think this will be the sleep hit of the genre for some time to come.

While I've owned an Xbox and am the current owner of a 360 I've never been a Halo fan. I used to play with a bunch of friends from time to time and we had fun. IMO Halo by way of XBL has always been ruined and I've never invested time into finding a good group of people to play with. I also never bought into the story or any of that stuff. This title would have done better on the 360 IMO. With the acquisition of Ferrari by Polphony for GT I don't see why they'd pursue another exclusive. While there was nothing like playing Ferrari Challenge in the arcades back in the day even if they support a wheel like the G25 they'll be a ways off. I can't speak with experience on what we can expect from this title in regards to physics but I doubt it'll be a FM or GT killer.
