I remember I just gave up on it about half-way through the third disc. The whole junction system was kind of annoying as well, so that wasn't necessarily a perk to playing that game. FF9 was awesome though and I almost didn't purchase it because I thought it was going to stink like FF8, but luckily I gave it a chance.
