I totally wanted to buy Resistence back when I bought my PS3 in October, but I went in expecting in to have a retail price of $40 or less since at that time it was almost a year since it was released. I really hope the PS3 Greatests Hits line will finally hit the market at the end of this month.
That is awesome. I still have my copy of KOF '99 for PSOne, so the previous 5 titles in the series will be a great addition.

Smart gamers who know whats going on will buy the PS3 version, but I suppose some of the casual, absent-minded gamers who don't know much will throw the dice and buy whatever version they feel is best.

Holy crap I totally forgot about that. I am looking at my original copy of Final Fantasy VII right now and the SCEA Logo is clearly displayed in the lower-right corner of the front of the jewel case. FFVII remake going to xbox 360 is as likely as Master Chief making a comeback on the PS3.
and that is a pretty big IF, it would certainly have to be downgraded a bit from the demonstration video's that were showed last year. Since mulit-console videogames have to be developed for the lowest common-denominator (which of course I can never see a future with a FFVII remake for the WII, which makes the LCD the xbox 360) it would not live up to its potential.
Please SquareEnix, DON'T release it for the 360 and really make it everything that you want it to be.

When the supply for a particular good cannot meet the demand for that particular good, in Economics that is called a shortage. Just like I have said before: What is the first sign of desperation and resentment? Condemnation. All these idiots do not WANT the PS3 to succeed because they know it will bring unique gaming experiences to the market that the xbox 360 cannot, and the whole attitude of "if I don't have it or can't afford it, I want it to bite the dust" is the underlining attitude for all these noobs.

I just hope they include more great music from classic artists like *Naturally look at avatar* The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains, Metallica, The Ramones, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, I can't list all the bands I like because I have other business to attend to, but I just hope all the new derivative crap music like Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, and all these other Disney-Channel-focused pop rock groups don't take over the store.

But I think its too soon for Uncharted to be classified as a Greatest Hit. From what I can recall, for a game to be classified as a "Greatest Hit" the game has to sell at least 750,000 copies and has to be on the market for at least 9 months.
I know Uncharted was a commercial success, but it came out less than 9 months ago, didn't it? Like in February or something?
