Yup, super hyped about RE8. Going to be a good one. I feel this is the Arkham City of the RE/Vania formula to what RE7 started.

Just to clarify how this game is going to be. I love the concept of a strong story and focus on the adventure. I didn’t know if this was an RPG or what, but I guess this will be more of an adventure title. Looks great and I can’t wait!

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing epic of both story telling and visual design. Well deserved and my personal GOTY.
I could get down on a Stardew Valley inspired retro game.. perhaps some called Hyrulian Lands or whatever where you craft and build, dungeon crawl for supplies, etc in the universe but not with Link and not a mainline game. This seems like a cool idea that could fit in between the birth of the next Link. There aren’t many storylines that talk about Hyrule between those 100 year gaps.

I don’t understand how or why BOTW is worshipped like it is. I put in 120 hours and chased that carrot in a stick all the way through. It was fine at best. It’s a mediocre game and a bad Zelda title. It’s just a physics sandbox with 200 repetitive minigames or puzzles, and 5 repeats of the same boss.
It looks janky as all hell. Nice visuals but I wouldn’t say great. That chaser enemy is also super corny. Is there any combat in this game or is this their attempt at a Silent Hill’ish Plague Tale? Not writing it off but not sold either.

This is releasing on PS4/5 which is interesting since we are gauging the exclusivity status of these games now under the Microsoft umbrella.

Agreed. Of all the games that came out in that decade, this list picked the most B tier titles and some of the most just okay games. Not saying you need TLOU or BOTW on there but Skylanders?
