This series fell off. I would really love to see it return.
Reported to be the longest so I am hoping we can get a 20+ village to explore. RE7 was only 4 areas (lest we forget the boat) and a small court year but was a good 12-15 hours to explore everything. I think REV will have quite a bit with the village's aesthetics like a graveyard, church, homes, secret areas, etc... plus werewolves, and then a massive castle and the witchy stuff. Plus, you know there is stuff they aren't showing us.
This was a really good game. I would have paid for it but being a PS+ title was a treat. I think for me, taking my time, it was a 13-hour platinum. Story was also deeper than expected and the writing/voice acting was very good.

True. This article is nonsense. Sony knows their market is not in JP as it is in the rest of the world. That is why Herman Hulst took the helm and PS4 and PS5 lead in the west. Switch sells in JP because it's another handheld; the Vita sold very well in Japan. This is a priority shift and nothing more. The Wii U tanked in JP and if Nintendo makes a new console that is NOT a handheld, it'll tank too.
Days Gone was a go from the start. I knew it would have its issues but despite a few janky quirks, the game was phenomenal. Some of the best characters in an open world, the story was awesome, and the gameplay and world design are top tier. Never played any DLC/Challenges but my clock was at 95hours when I popped the platinum trophy. This game is patched up really nice and if you sleep on it or keep sleeping, you are really missing out on one of Sony’s best PS4 games.

Crystal was the combination of Gold/Silver, the best Pokémon games. G/S was like Borderlands 2 of the series. Perfected and let you relive what was great in the original. Plus the clear cartridge was badass.

The original was a really unique RPG. Cool combat system too. Whatever they did with the PSP Version... don’t ever do that again. Would like to see this series return.

Short rush of a story (did this in my NG+) but still a solid meaty sort when you play it without the spring. My full playtime was well over 20+ hours to explore and platinum this amazing title.

The actual world is so large that I am curious what part 2 will consist of. They turned less than 5-10 hours of Midgar into a 40-50 hour extravaganza. The game opens up a bit but still is linear for quite a while longer. I wonder how many games will this become.
He did Devil’s Third on Wii U. Never played it and I thought it was canceled. I guess it’s good according to google reviews. I wouldn’t mind a cool new action game. I’m personally all ninja’d out but I would play a new Gaiden title.

SOTC on PS4 is a remake. It’s the same framework but remade with new assets. Remasters do not remove the framework or the assets but instead are enhanced.
