65hrs in, finally finished my second chapter 4. What a massive title!
I'm over 60 hours in and just wrapping up my second Chapter 4 for a character. This game is massive but never overwhelming.
The first two on world games on PlayStation were my favorite and they still are my favorite games today. They had some of the best graphics you would ever find on PlayStation one, and outstanding story about the corrupted Dark World of corporate business, gameplay that was out of this world and redefined how a puzzle platformer should play, and one of the most unique control systems with voice commands from both the face and the ass LOL. But holy hell the remaster really took everything I lov...
1. Thanks for the update on it. I don't have a 3DTV anymore but I would agree, I bet the depth with how this game's world is laid out looks great.
2. Just was giving heads up if people are going in blind. I commend you man, it's super story driven for the characters so anything beyond "merchant" on "chapter 3" etc etc lets out deets.
3. No worries, it's just a big game so I see a lot (to include IGN and Kotaku, who had ...
RE Engine keeps the grittiness of the old days but with a polish that's just great.
"I'm also going to discuss one more thing that frankly, I might be the only reviewer to even mention this as I've yet to see this talked about anywhere; play this game on a 3D TV. If you have one of these tv's, turn on the 3D mode and prepare to see this game in a whole new light. The 3D enhances the diorama look even more by adding a depth of field that makes the environments and characters pop off the screen. As much as I wanted to sink time into this game via the portable ...
NMS was never a bad game at all. It was over promised and then underdelivered. I am glad to see the team working heard to try and make amends and bring this title to more people the way it was advertised. I had a ton of fun popping in adn playing a bit, then popping out. I'll jump back into NEXT to see whats new. I am close to the platinum, but they changed the criteria for animal/creature exploration trophies and that made things much harder to achieve. Maybe there will be a good change ...
I think this is a pretty solid list in the right order. I would love to see a top down Fallout return to form. The originals are great but are very archaic in controls. I would like to see something that is more fluid like Diablo, but with all the dynamics of Fallout and VATS, dialog, etc. Just a smoother game.
I chose the Knight because I played him during both demos and figured he was muscle to help the other characters (as you still play through all 8 of them). His story is really good and it has been a rewarding game through and through so far. I am around 55hrs at level 50 for 4 characters (Knight, Merch, Thief and Scholar) with the map open but about 80% of most of the areas explores (minus harder areas I haven't went back to and story driven locked areas). I have all 8 Chapter Ones does a...
But there are people like Greg Miller from Kinda Funny who gets these types of games just for an easy Platinum. And I mean "get" in terms of he will call the company crying for a free code.
BOTW isn't the best Zelda game to start with. To be quite, honest it's not really a Zelda game at all. If you want to play the series just play the original. It is super easy to play and it has lasted over the ages as one of the most rewarding games ever created.
Such an amazing game. It's so mess of yet so easy to digest. Square really knocked it out of the park with this incredible masterpiece
I am glad this got on Vive for more to enjoy. Moss is the ZeldaCharted of VR games and it's charming, exciting and just enticing enough to leave you in awe, but hungry for more. I cannot wait for a Book II. This was a proud Platinum'd PSVR game and well worth the $30. Thank you Polyarc!
Octopath Traveler just edged out GOW(I platinum'd btw) for me and they both are 10s. I think the hook and fun of a massive JRPG that is easy to digest with a rich and meaningful compilation of stories. Every side tale, main tale, quest, NPC, and more are full of life. I love the side quests, path actions, and hidden treasure. (50hours in with all CH1s, 4x CH2s, 3x CHP3s complete and working on a 4th CHP 3. I see this being a 150 hour game from start to all 8 stories completed. I found my ...
OT's soundtrack is really really great. I think they nailed the aesthetic of the 16bit Midi days but with a rich modern orchestral sound.
It's nuts to think this game is coming out in like 6 weeks
So is there a collision now with land mass and trees? He had a couple trees but I remember playing this and you automatically hover a hundred feet over the ground until you choose to land
:)
I hope their next game (that space crash) is just as fun and creepy as Limbo and Inside
Well that's flipping awesome
Octopath Traveler is incredible and perfect for the Switch
