No I think they're still a little bit until death's Gambit comes out. I think Hollow Knight is definitely the best of all of them and it's a shock that dead cells has received higher scores from any sites. I don't know what's up with this Rogue metroidvania procedurally-generated whatever style but it seems to be the current flavor of the month

The level of detail and diversity and the combat is just astonishing. You have a dozen different ways to tackle any scenario at any time which is more than any other superhero game has ever given us. Insomniac nailed Spider-Man and Peter Parker's arrogant cockiness in combat to the T. I love how they streamlined hand to hand combat, web and gadget combat, transversal, environmental interactions, Quick Time events, and stealth all into one solid system. It's truly (no pun) AMAZING!
OT is going to be a contender for Switch GOTY but I don't think it'll win and I love it (70hrs in and finally working on my 5th characters full story). I think that GOW, Spider-man and RDR2 are going to fight it out, but I think regardless the game's media is going to give it to RDR2 no matter what.
I played when it came out and for about 70 hours until I platinum'd it. What a phenomenal game. The BS media who really tried to dig down and tear into with the (Ubi-Copy Comments) can really eat one, because this was not only one of the best games of last year but one of the best games of this generation and it's sales numbers are booming. G-Games knocked it out of the park and I cannot wait to experience the sequel when it launches.
Product placement in certain games like sports games racing games for example where it makes sense is a great idea. But when you inject them into the game world and they're only trying to serve the purpose of selling a product, they just look terrible. This is like Homefront having all those Monster energy drink machines to take cover behind.
Zero mention of Online = Attention locked in. I do hope they focus massively on the SP over the MP. Everything else looks great.

I really don't know how it's going to redefine gaming but I'm looking forward to getting back to the old west. I would like to hope that this is going to be a very massive single player experience with focus on story over using the game as a platform to push microtransactioned online like GTAV became.
This is the issue I feel too. There is 1000s of games and over 40+ years of gaming history that has been archived in these files and they are all lost. I really need to jump back into the DLC. I played 70 hours and popped the platinum trophy (had about 75% of the lore as well) and I loved every friggin minute of this masterpiece. I was one of the ones pretty perturbed that BOTW took GOTY when I truly feel this incredible game not only deserved it but was more of a Zelda game than BOTW could ever have been.
I first collected up all 8 characters, then focused on building out just 4 and completed their full stories. That took me to about 70hours without beating all side dungeons and getting any of the bonus jobs. I am now figuring out how to shift around and add in a new character and Ill fast-level and beat those stories and then go back to my super strong tried and true crew to tackle the final enemies/dungeons. I am expecting to be around 120+ hours when I finally finish this game to what I gue...
