When the Wii was announced I envisioned more fps's than what we have right now.
Kinda wish Nintendo has it's own fps franchise. Nintendo has a franchise in every other genre.

But a lot of that has to do with image. Todays core gamer hates casual games because they see it as a dumbing down or of poor quality to the games they love which is also opinionated.

Well Nintendo being in the video game market means they have nothing else to fall back on. Sony and Microsoft just have a different business model than that of Nintendo meaning Microsoft and Sony got into gamign because they saw it as a growing and profitable venture. Sony and Microsoft could not succeed in this venture and they would still function, Nintendo on the other hand would be screwed.
