...who gave Assassin's Creed a 4.5 and did the cover story for the GTAIV Cover story of EGM. I just find it kind of depressing that so many journalists are leaving the 1UP Network.
The soldiers look like the Mantel, the plot is driven by some sort of adrenaline filled, bad-acted machismo that really detracts from the experience.
Just because it has something "innovative" going for it doesn't mean it will be a good game.
You should. They're hilarious and they provide a very good insight into the gaming industry. They aren't biased towards Microsoft in any way at all, in fact, they tout Steam alot on their podcast.
Anyway, it's definitely worth a listen.
...is Resistance 2. Are you ready?
You beat me to uploading it, but the word "damn" can used to pretty much sum up the awesomeness of this trailer.
If it's coming out on the iPhone, it might as well come out for the Wii, DS and PSP too. However, I can't really visualize an experience like BioShock on an iPhone. We'll just have to wait and see how the pull it off, if they pull it off at all.
Wasn't this obvious?
Never knew there was a book in development till now. Now the only question is to find out if its a good book or not.
I always entered a battle blocking. I had the block button down at almost all times, the only exception being when I had to attack or there was no danger involved. Frankly, blocking, rolling around and attacking were what made Ninja Gaiden's combat look so badass.
That's .3 away from a 9.0 and still a pretty high scoring title. Unless of course you only consider good games to be 9 and above, I can't really see why you wouldn't want this game.
It is pretty surprising how early these reviews are considering that these kind of high profile titles usually have their reviews up a day or two before the actual release date.
To you perhaps, it will be the best next-gen action game. To others it won't be. That's not to say that it won't be great, I'm sure it will be. However, blatantly stating that NG2 is the best next gen action game period is a little too biased, and certainly isn't fact to anybody but you.
As is Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry. Having played all three franchises they all shine in their own right and they all have something that make them unique and captivating for the certain gamer.
Ninja Gaiden is all about speed.
Devil May Cry is about combos.
God of War is about a sense of "god-like" power and the satisfaction that comes with wielding it.
Whether you prefer a certain type of action game is up to you, but you can't deny that all ...
Judging by the videos and screenshots, it doesn't seem to revolutionize the genre as the first seemed, but just expands upon it in a matter that a sequel should. This is a good score and I'm just disappointed I don't have a 360 to play as Ryu with a Scythe.
This could get ugly...
And I refuse to listen to it unless it's on my iPod. Stupid, maybe, but that's how I am.
I spent more time staring at the screen than listening to James or Garnett.
They're bonus characters like Valeria and Strife in Soul Calibur III. The only new story character confirmed has been Hilde.
Is this really necessary?
He was supposedly going off to become a pirate or something, but that was a joke. This is actually happening.
